Not to mention that that sound means just a single rifleman is reloading, while the rest clearly still have a loaded gun.

@@mralexs The base rifle is just a Garand, and the detachable mag just an upgrade option like the barrel, stock, sights etc. So it's akin to the T20, T22, BM59 etc in that respect, but isn't actually any of them.

Every time the background music comes in for the guns to be reviewed it kinda sounds like a musical spike in a horror movie. Jonathan’s reaction just reinforces that notion. Edit: 11:42 14:59

How did we go from the jaw dropping realism of MW19 to this.

I feel like, after recording this, Jonathan went down to the Armoury's cellar and spent the rest of the day lovingly stripping and cleaning every ww2-era firearm he could find, while muttering curses and threats under his breath. He was eventually found two days later in a state of manic agitation, crouched behind a rudimentary barricade of sandbags and old furniture, wearing a British Tommy helmet and gasmask, and asking if he could never be put in front of a computer ever again.

I thought the guns in bf5 were bad. The ones in vanguard are actually awful

@@HankingMySchrader I think there was more costumitation then what we are let to be live. be it field mods that are hush hush because if Captain/Major Winter two Foxholes and a FOB back heard about one of his GI rifles been unauthorized modified there would be hell. so yes, then we might have soldiers whoes gun been damaged and the damage part replaced/fixed whit what ever else they fould that worked.

i honestly think "festooned with nonsence" is now my favorite words ever put together

7:25, I'm assuming you could throw a cap on the threads there like you can with an MG34. Obviously they didn't here as you can see the hole where the recoil spring should be. Either way, outside of a situation where the gun is mounted (Which is why the 34 had caps for buttstock removal) it would be pretty dumb to remove your stock on a full caliber machine gun.

I love that his grading scale goes from slightly to extremely heinous.

Oh by the way, the Vanguard 1911 is also full auto.

It feels like the devs got tired of everyone making huge deals out of minor historical inaccuracies in guns in previous games so they made Vanguard thinking "Oh they think that's historically inaccurate, we'll give them historically inaccurate."

Actually I think the A180 blaster from Rogue One is based of the Luger P08.

6:30 I like how the TELESCOPIC STYLE SIGHT has practically no magnification and only zooms in your actual head towards the gun

His smug little eyebrow raise when pointing out the WWII scope on the STG was the icing on the cake.

Seeing Jonathon cuddling an STG was definitely the best possible outcome all things considered

The one word that describes this multiplayer: Why.

Ever since I saw those Frankenstein weapons in Vanguard I’ve been waiting for this. I almost puked seeing how poorly CoD treated the weapons, and I applaud Jonathan for not using his firearms to storm Activision HQ after seeing this.

The best part about the "Thompson" is that the character has a wacky foregrip but he holds the front end of the gun by the magazine. The foregrip serves no purpose whatsoever. It's just magicaly giving you benefits and hindrances in the game hahahahahaha Cursed, this game is cursed.

its still efectively imposible to make a real MK of sten in the gunsmith though. even if you keep it vanilla, there's an incorrect flash hider on the front.

Who else thinks they should show the game’s versions of real world weapon variants? You can create faux versions of the PPS43, Lebman 1911, M1928A1 Thompson, Owen MKII, Zb30, and M1918 BAR. Then there’s actual versions that can be made STG44 ZF4, G43 ZF4, SVT40 PU, G33/40(t), Type 99 Arisaka, Kar98k ZF41, SKT40, and Auto 5 Riot Gun. They owe for Jonathan’s sanity.
