Fire Up Your STRIKING, CLINCH, and DEFENCE Skills with this MITTWORK Drill!

🖋 Here is a cool 3 part pad drill that enhances your striking, clinch, and defensive attributes. You can use this for combat sport and self defense. Set your timer for 3-5 minutes, do as many rounds as you can handle. This can be an intense workout, and jam packed to help you develop these 3 attributes (clinch, defensive covers, and striking.) Feel free to modify this drill anyway you like.

    Fantastic video, thanks for sharing this. Also a really nice framework to practice specific techniques from kata in a "medium-free-form" environment. I was just saying the other day I wanted to find something like this, and it fits the bill perfectly.

    @@KarateUnity Just back from training and saw your message, so no footage, I’m afraid, but folk enjoyed it a lot. Hot sweaty work! Putting it all together - covering, moving into the grapple, and then finishing off the fight with a simple combo - felt great! My club is what Iain Abernethy would call a 3K club - no choice in my neck of the woods, and I’m loyal to the club anyway! - but our instructor is off ill at the moment, so I’m taking the opportunity to mix it up a bit.
