Another great easy to follow video. Thanks! Due to interior CB radio install and my dog always in the rear, the passenger seat is almost always all the way back, This install should work great.

Haha I always love your comments! Thanks for the support! But yes! I was in the same boat so thought I'd try one! Now that I've had it for a couple days, I actually think I'd move it to the rear of the seat. But the door pocket sounds cleaner!

@@themandiyrin Point of note; without your well done, detailed video's there would be no need for me to comment. Summation; YOU are the MVP. The door pocket would be cleaner (and potentially faster access if outside the truck), but would require drilling, and some form of retention screws. I think that bracket you used is less invasive by far.

Cool solution but all hardware should be black to match brackets. Final install looks great but the spousal unit would not like it interfering with her leg room. Lol.

@@Steak_59 ohhhh you have the tailgate ladder?! How Is that? I have the bed extender and im not sure if I'd get in the way but I'm always so curious about the ladder!

@@themandiyrin It's a game changer for me. That knee buster panel made it dreadful getting into the bed, but that ladder makes it so I by pass the panel altogether. You know I really can't say if the extender would even come into play the way the ladder folds up. Either way 2 pins and the ladder is stowable and not in the way at all.

@@Steak_59 I love it! I will try and find and install it! Might ask you for advice on the install when I get to it. But yeah I recently lifted my truck which makes it even more difficult to get up the bed. This will help a ton!

@@themandiyrin Sure, but it's a really simple install. Be sure to remove the tailgate panel and hit the solid ribs in the tailgate frame and it should be golden. Also, measure the length you need before purchasing to insure it will extend far enough for your lift.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but from outsiders perspective it seems dangerous to have a fire extinguisher in the cab with you. Couldn't they explode in a bad enough wreck? In the bed of a truck or somehow mounted outside seems safe. Maybe I am just over thinking this.

Hi thanks for watching my video! That's an excellent question! In my opinion the likelihood of that happening is very slim to none. The likelihood of having to control fire during camping or a small electrical fire in your hood (for whatever reason) is probably more likely. I'm not an expert thou but we have fire extinguishers in all of our work vehicle (construction) for safety so I assume there's Merit to it!

Can the seat still be adjusted and slide all the way forward?

Hi thanks for watching my video! Yes it can almost all the way, one notch off as that’s where the bracket is (approximately half an inch width).

Doesn’t seem to be as sturdy as the desertdoesit mount 🤔
