For over 70 years as a Scot I have been watching Scottish teams play on the world stage and they never fail to disappoint. Not sure whether it is complacency, lack of self belief, indiscipline or just a plain lack of reality but I could well have made a fortune by predicting outcomes like this. Yes they can scratch out a victory sometimes against the odds but when it comes to critical games they always fall short.

It was 100% a Scotland try at the very end of the game.

Besides fact Russel was offside by a mile in start of the action bozo.

It was a try no question about it but there just wasn't enough proof it was over the line there are clips of it being grounded though. But sure that's the way it can happen sometimes like ya have go with the initial decision on the field if there isn't enough proof. Ireland were in the reverse last week France didn't score a try but the initial decision was it was a try and there wasn't enough evidence to say it wasn't even though ya can see it was in front of the try line the ball was placed. Hard luck to Scotland these types of decisions suck but it is very hard to call

Of course it was a try mate the TMO said it 2x the ref confirmed it with the tmo he said yes then he just goes no no he can’t do that the tmo fucked up big time and he should be losing his job because of it simple as. It’s the only way world rugby will rule out byist tmo and refs

it will not be overturned, there is no such things, ok there is a a try I think as well (i'm French), but I would like to check if Finn Russel was not offside when he intercepts the ball right before. And Van Der Merwe high tackle could also have been a penalty (right before his interception 1m from scottish line, where he is probably offside as well after his tackle) Unlucky for scots who where better that day, but referre made some debatable decisions for both sides.

Ref: ITS HELD UP OVER THE LINE Tmo: it’s down - over the line. Ref: I’ll change my decision. Tmo: Oh wait I’m Irish corrupt and been paid off STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL ON FIELD DECISION.

Finn Russel is a great player. 4 of the biggest teams are missing a star player in this 6 nations since last year not just France. Sure France are missing Dupont but it was his decision to play Olympics Rugby, Owen Farrell took a year out, Ireland Johnny Sexton retired and Mack Hansen is injured with a dislocated shoulder while for Scotland this is the 1st 6 nations they have to go without Hogg so yes it is not just Dupont

France barely won and a lot would say didn't win as they were cheated and are ranked 4th best team in the world and France were the favourites to win the World Cup so to put up this level of Rugby takes good players Finn is 1 of them
