Finland's President Sees No Reason to Talk to Putin

Finland President Sauli Niinisto says there's no reason to speak to Russia's Vladimir Putin. He just met with President Joe Biden at the White House. He speaks to Bloomberg's Annmarie Hordern. They also talk about Finland joining NATO, border security and the war in Ukraine.

People who are not afraid will just show it, and when we use the word *_but_* that most often indicates insecurity and someone trying to point away from that truth. There's no need to state what we are not. Just *_show_* what we are and then we also show what we are not. *_I'm not this, I'm not that..._* shows insecurity and you will more often just outright pull your own pants down. You clearly see fear in his eyes, and that's why it's better to avoid that kind of talk till you get your condfidence back up again because it's not believable.

  • @LordLemoncake

I disagree with this guy and i am from Hungary too. There are no "sick dictators", there are only national interests: - the american interest in Ukraine was always about using the conflict to separate Europe from russian energy and influence and to weaken Russia. - the russian interest in Ukraine is to force the country to be neutral, because if Ukraine is neutral it serves both the West and Russia, taking a side is suicide for Ukraine, because right now it only serves american interest, i mean there are two outcomes from this conflict, either Ukraine will still exist as a country when it is over or it will not, the outcome depends on how long Ukraine will serve the american interest of weakening Russia, because if you have payed ANY attention to this conflict then you know that the collective WEST was only sending enough weapons to keep the ukranians fighting, not helping them to win and if you understand this then you understand that the EU and America do not care about what is in the best interest of the ukranian people, because the West believes that it is ok to "regime change" in a country everytime they dont get what they want, but they dont care about the consequences of their actions at all. Ukraine as the member ofthe NATO? Not a chance. Maybe it can be the member of the EU, but after the war if Ukraine will still exist it will be heavily indebted towards the west and will have no industry to produce anything, so if the EU will accept Ukraine as a member then the EU will go into a recession or i should say the inflation will not go away. This is the part where i should write that i condemn the russian military action in Ukraine and i stand with the ukranian people, but i agree with Russia, for 8 years the West ignored the warnings of Russia and avoided any diplomatic solution, now the West has to take responsibility for it, blaming Russia is the opposite of that and if Europe wants to be taken seriously in any way then it should act for for peace in the interest of the european people instead of serving american interest. If being ally with America means that we stand in a line to get thrown under the bus one by one and being used as a sacrificial lamb then i dont see how it serves our own interest.

Over the past decade Russia actually increased the military presence near Finland, but that's over now. There's only a tolen force left anymore. Not that it matters since nobody's going to attack Russia, the biggest nuclear power in the world. Knowing this we were 100% prepared to counter anything that Russia (Soviet Union) tried Slava Ukrayini 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

The Soviets have not caused destruction but they suffered destruction from June 1941. Without Stalin's Red Army no British or American soldier would ever have touched European ground. After-made stories are fakes and lies from today's viewpoint. When Eisenhower was standing side by side with Stalin on the Cremlin Wall the Westerners could be happy to have such strong allies. Bandera Ukraine collaborated with Hitler helping him take the Jews to concentration camps. Today they are turned into Hollywood heroes because everything is directed against Russia. American lickspittles.

😂😂😂😂 2:33: the automatic subtitles bot translating the presidents speech: “ we bought alot of F35s to protect our photos”. Yes. Finnish people really cherish their memories! 2:45: “we are prepared to take our children to protect the border line” 😂😂😂 Those automated subtitles bots really need an upgrade

Germany and France need a leader like this, with brains and balls, not Putin's ball in their mouths. Puxxy euros are at fault, decades of capitulation.

I liked how Sauli Niinistö said in his NATO speech that Finland will still keep up the strong defence forces even tho we joined NATO. Thats not a case in most NATO countries. I see that some counties seem to rely more staying behind NATO curtain than upkeep their armies without cutting military budgets.

Why didn't the Russians occupy Finland in the past eighty years ? Would have been an easy job for them .
