Cause do you see, here's one small detail, which your two brain cells fail to understand - it is russian troops who occupy ukrainian territory, not vise versa. In order to stop the war - russia has just to withdraw it's forces. Which it doesn't want to do, because it doesn't want peace. It just talks that it wants peace - to freaking gaslight you in believing they haven't started war in first place. And you seem to eat their propaganda quite well, good freaking job.

As long as the west continues to fund Ukraine in war, it won't end. Russia has been suing for a peaceful resolve for over 10 years. If a Canadian coup erupted and seized a northern US state, but a region of that state had rebelled against the new leaders but lost, then tried to maintain its culture but again were being told it is now illegal to speak their native language. Would the US not step in and try to save that one territory for the loyal people that remain on the wrong side of the border? Then the rest of the world throws its support behind the side of the coup. How disheartening it all is when you think of it.

  • @jesan733

@@tricia4563 what nonsense is "seized a northern US state"? You're providing a Russian propaganda perspective with the customary lies, omissions and exaggerations. A few points: 1. The Revolution of Dignity was a popular revolution, not a coup. 2. The east of Ukraine didn't rebel, Russia invaded with "little green men" and used local collaborators in the fighting. 3. It's not illegal to speak Russian. Rather business conversations should start in Ukrainian and switch only if the customer requests it, and also teaching should be conducted in Ukrainian from fourth grade. The goal is to make sure everybody should be fluent in Ukrainian, partly so that they can get other perspectives than the vicious anti-Ukrainian propaganda that's common in Russian media. 4. Russia is trying to crush the post-WW2 Europan and World security order, which includes that strong prohibition on changing and especially annexing territories by force. 5. Ukraine is a nascent democracy and Russia is a vicious fascist dictatorship. Putin and one of his henchwomen have now been indicted in the ICC for war crimes involving the forcible deportation of children, which is a genocidal strategy.

@@psychologianiestacjonarna6558 If your sincere opinion of Sergei Lavrov's use of English here is that it is "simple pidgin English", that surely indicates more about your understanding of English than it does about his. It was grammatically correct and full of natural and eloquent phrases. There are British ministers whose use of English does not match Sergei Lavrov's. Though I am very interested, if you are willing to take a few minutes to tell everyone, precisely what it was about his English that made you see it as "simple pidgin English." With thanks and in anticipation. (This reply is neither an attack upon you nor a defense of any points he made, as I am sure you can see.) .............. For the benefit of other viewers who are not yet familiar with it, this is how linguists describe Pidgin English. (Wikipedia) A pidgin[1][2][3] /ˈpɪdʒɪn/, or pidgin language, is a grammatically simplified means of communication that develops between two or more groups of people that do not have a language in common: typically, its vocabulary and grammar are limited and often drawn from several languages. It is most commonly employed in situations such as trade, or where both groups speak languages different from the language of the country in which they reside (but where there is no common language between the groups). Linguists do not typically consider pidgins as full or complete languages. Fundamentally, a pidgin is a simplified means of linguistic communication, as it is constructed impromptu, or by convention, between individuals or groups of people. A pidgin is not the native language of any speech community, but is instead learned as a second language.[4][5] A pidgin may be built from words, sounds, or body language from a multitude of languages as well as onomatopoeia. As the lexicon of any pidgin will be limited to core vocabulary, words with only a specific meaning in the lexifier language may acquire a completely new (or additional) meaning in the pidgin. Pidgins have historically been considered a form of patois, unsophisticated simplified versions of their lexifiers, and as such usually have low prestige with respect to other languages.[6] However, not all simplified or "unsophisticated" forms of a language are pidgins. Each pidgin has its own norms of usage which must be learned for proficiency in the pidgin.[7] A pidgin differs from a creole, which is the first language of a speech community of native speakers that at one point arose from a pidgin. Unlike pidgins, creoles have fully developed vocabulary and patterned grammar. Most linguists believe that a creole develops through a process of nativization of a pidgin when children of acquired pidgin-speakers learn and use it as their native language.
