Honestly a very good interview in my humble opinion. Both the interviewer and Khan tried their best to "work with each other" for lack of a better word. Interviewer clearly asks hard questions. And Khan seemed to answer to the best of his capabilities. He obviously was/is restricted by "on the ground" reality on what is wise to say and what not to say.

US war in Afghanistan did not kill 2 million people. The highest number of deaths is estimated at around 250,000 (Uppsala Conflict Data Program). That's terrible, but almost 10 times less than what you claim with no proof. And if Pakistan and, in general, people in the Middle East are going to criticize the West for "hypocrisy" - look in the mirror. Russia killed between 500,000 /Klass, Rosanne (2018)/ and 2 million people /Goodson, Larry P. (2011)/ between 1979 and 1988. Yet none of you care. Ya'll praise Russia and even support Putin in his war against Ukraine. Pathetic.
