I really don't think that this interviewer is hostile. Politicians need to face tricky questions and answer them cleverly. He (IK) can't do that.

This interviewer is so biased it’s grotesque. Pakistan’s leader must serve its people, this is why the U.S overthrown a legitimately elected country leader simply because he refused to be used as a tool for the western interest. I hope the people of Pakistan will re-elect lmran Khan as the prime minster, you country truly deserve a leader has the best interests for its country and people. Honestly a very good interview in my humble opinion. Both the interviewer and Khan tried their best to "work with each other" for lack of a better word. Interviewer clearly asks hard questions. And Khan seemed to answer to the best of his capabilities. He obviously was/is restricted by "on the ground" reality on what is wise to say and what not to say.

Imran Khan, you’re the most honest person I’ve seen on this planet Earth. Being honest in a situation where majority people are honest and there aren’t any mighty opposition powers internally and externally to stand against is not a big deal, hence why is the probably the Most Honest man I’ve ever seen. Also the title of the video is a blatant lie.

He is absolutely right. When you become the prime minister of a country you must put your personal morality code aside and think about the nations interests.

Some issues blown out of proportion, i mean if entire world has condemned what actions are taken so far to put an end to conflict and we all know how much practically been done to erdaicate misery of ukrainians. Will it work just by taking sides or condemning one party. It will further push the conflict. Solution between two parties lies in taking them to table not by taking side and strengthen any of the party.

Dependencies make leaders cave to dictators; even Germany wouldn't immediately cut off oil and gas from Russia, and they have alternatives. Pakistan has real needs of food and fuel with no backup as far as I know, which puts them between a rock and a hard place. Kudos to Imran Khan for telling it like it is.

I have great respect for DW, but this was an appalling interview! Let the prime minister speak! Im from Australia and before this interview I did not have Pakistan's viewpoint on the subject, but the prime minister held himself very well and more importantly gave answers for the questions the interviewer was asking! Honestly DW taking shots at Russia is easy at this point but the PM of Pakistan has nothing to do with it.

I watched whole interview, I deeply respected Mr. Imran Khan. I wish we have had a prime minister or president like him in Mongolia. There is no doubt that he is the PARTIOT of his own people.

Difficult and penetrating questions during the interview. But Imran Khan was equal to the task. He handled them most competently, patriotically and with depth of knowledge. He was outstanding in protecting Pakistan's interests.

Why is a condemnation by Imran Khan so crucial for the West? The same question was posed to him while in power and even now and his answer to that was the same as then as it is now. How is he wrong in saying that why hold Pakistan to a different yardstick when your own strategic ally India hasn't condemned it and is doing business along with Germany that is doing business with Russia even after condemning it!

@@enlivenrex9997 yup, completly agreed on that. indian establishment and their foreign policies are far more better than pak.we have our own people that easily came under pressure or willingly agreed with US and west in exchange of their personal benefits like providing them foreign nationalities and other properties. So we need someone like Imran khan to change all these from the ground. Our country is not poor it is full of Natural resources and beauty. But we need honest leaders to run the state in the right direction.

Never thought i would say this, this Pakistan politician is someone alot of Western politicians could learn from.

I like his honesty. Instead of defending Russia he actually said he’s not condemning Putin because of Pakistan’s interests. Also drawing the line between civilian and political (PM) life was quite insightful.

He makes a firm and fair argument. He's right to challenge the reporter, though arguably naive to think he'd get a response on the issue of hypocrisy.

One of the best interview of Imran Khan . He protects his county's interest very nicely and this interview shows the double standards of European media about Seria, Afghanistan , IOK Kashmir and Palestine . NATO and America killed 2 million people in Afghanistan since 2001 to 2021 and European media don't talk about it.

US war in Afghanistan did not kill 2 million people. The highest number of deaths is estimated at around 250,000 (Uppsala Conflict Data Program). That's terrible, but almost 10 times less than what you claim with no proof. And if Pakistan and, in general, people in the Middle East are going to criticize the West for "hypocrisy" - look in the mirror. Russia killed between 500,000 /Klass, Rosanne (2018)/ and 2 million people /Goodson, Larry P. (2011)/ between 1979 and 1988. Yet none of you care. Ya'll praise Russia and even support Putin in his war against Ukraine. Pathetic.
