This song has truly taken Finland by storm! My dad who doesn't care about UMK at all kept asking from his room who is up next and then came to living room just to watch Käärijä perform🤣 Even my mom who hates heavier music and strong EDM thought the performance was funny and memorable. My tiktok feed is full of finnish memes of the song. I love that we have representative that has been able to unite everyone, eurovision hype in Finland this year feels higher than it has been in a very long time!

Despite the noise of the track, it has coherence, and he is so charismatic there's something cute and expressive about him. He carries the track even if you don't understand language. I totally understand him causing a storm in Finland. Potential winner id say.

I'm Swedish and very very very proud of Loreen, love her song and everything, but I want Finland to win with this too. This has Eurovision winner written all over it, ticking allllllll of the boxes of everything we love.

I will be buy a Finnish flag! This is my absolute favourite, but there are so many other great songs! But “Cha cha cha” is of a different league.

For the first time since maybe Lordi, Finland has come together to support their entry and I think that's smth truly special. I hope he will win this EV.

This years' UMK had 7 wonderful and really good entries all of them would smash most of the other national entries this year.

I love this!! My absolute favourite to win.

By current standards, i'm genuinely thinking that we're going to have another 2018 situation on our hands. "Cha cha cha" is the "Toy" of 2023's contest (thus far). Wild, in your face, quite childlike at times with the infantile simplicity of the chorus/post chorus and with a strong virality. Meanwhile Loreens "Tattoo" is the "Fuego". Slick, sensual both visually and musically, with great staging and a popular pretty female singer. There are still a decent handful of countries yet to throw their hats in the ring, but it'll be interesting to see how this unfolds

I was about to comment exactly this. CHACHA CHA is definitely the TOY of 2023. The pre final build up for Fuego was crazy. I love the originality of this melodic and well orchestrated song - and EVERYONE can just sing along - it's so catchy and so it's CHA CHA CHA for me.

This will blow off the roof in Liverpool. It's amazingly original and energetic and he pulls this off so well live. Finland should be top 5 in May. Btw love your comments on the show William!

Exactly. He was only one whose vocals failed a bit live. Song is still good as stuioversion. So yes. He deserved the last place. Even in my opinion, it's so hard to put any of them in order. Like Keira/Kuumaa/Robin/Lxandra could have been in any order.

That's not a sex train, it's a piggy train, "possujuna." Käärijä want to add it to the show quite late 😅

I'm so happy that Käärijä won! Tampere 2024?!? Eurovision winner! I think so. I'm still so surprised that KUUMAA got 5th place with them being number 1/2 in the charts the this whole month and being such a hit. They deserved more points. Been listening to their other songs 💙 I did not think Portion Boys would come in second but i think they did really well on their performance and I agree Benjamin did not deserve last place. Overall UMK & YLE thank you for an amazing show it just keeps getting better year after year. This is the only national selection I have watched live and I was not disappointment. ❤ CONGRATS KÄÄRIJÄ! For me personally it was between him and KUUMAA and I'm so happy he won!

I think that KUUMAA and Käärijä shared many fans so when was time to vote they chose Käärijä because they wanted him to go eurovision although they might have liked KUUMAA’s song personally more

This is true winner. Helsinki 2024. They deserved to win.

It is wow indeed. Wow in any sense. Cannot stop listening and it has been in my head for few days now lol. Two things are special in it for me: Finland are proud of its language! Well done for them. I wish my country Israel stop sending songs in English, any country should be proud in its own roots and national languages. Another thing is the message in the song: Brits, Irish and Europeans, especially northern countries have a problem of alcoholism. Beyond that, many people suffering social anxiety and using alcohol and drugs to be among other people. This is a song with a strong message. Belting that problem. And what an amazing show and the vibe itself, absolute party, it has a danceclub hit written all over it!! For me it is the winner this year. Having heard Sweden's song i respect Loreen but i think her song does not top Kaarija's excellent song.

I am from Spain (I am in love with Blanca's perfomance and I want she wins ESC), but Cha Cha Cha is awesome, potential winner.

Everyone will be singing Cha Cha Cha in the auditorium in Liverpool.

What happens in the music video does not take place in a boxing ring as everybody is saying but in a lucha libre ( Mexican born freestyle wrestling) ring hence the outfit and masks. I was sold on first listen! What an entertainer indeed! 🎉

Yeah Käärijä must be tired but so are we, his fans, I mean we need to see every vid of him many many many times! And YOU DEAR W, you are such a lovely person❤

It's fun how the dancers in live version took over the blonde wig type from the video. They're like the alter ego, first attacking or fighting Käärijä, and with the human centipede/sex snake, they kind of submitted and gave in and they were at the same side in the end. One negative thing is that the sober and awkward men letting it loose after getting drunk is very old and worn out trope in Finnish music. Alcoholism, melancholy, dark winters etc. We love those songs but they're kind of worn out. But this is a new sounding take on that. Thank you for your insightful and pleasant sounding video. Props for own short video clips, audio quality and editing.

I'm not even a particular fan of the ESC but there were just so many good songs this year that I had to watch the whole thing. There were maybe 5 songs I would have been OK if they won, incredible level this year. That being said I think Benjamin should have done better, if that song was performed by Antti Tuisku it could have been a winner. And yeah, Käärijä will take it all in Liverpool mark my words.

You can replace Your cup of morning chai with Cha Cha Cha.

I still don't know what to think about this song, at first I thought it was a joke entry, then I watched the performance again and and I think its not. Maybe the more I hear it, the more it's like me Some parts of the melody reminds me of an old electronic song, if I'm not mistaken was called 'Dance with The devil'

Benjamin did win Dancing With Star last year, so he is a good dancer.

About Benjamin: Bad vocals, boring performance and he just doesn't have the charisma and experience to SELL the song to the audience. And tbh, when people say it was a big favorite, I say... NO, it wasn't. Not here in Finland. With European fans yes but finns didn't love it the way everyone seemed to think. Käärijä, Portion Boys and Kuumaa were the three that got the most attention and hype here before the Final. So I think Benjamin even himself kinda believed his own hype, that really wasn't much of a hype. About Kuumaa, I have so many friends that said "I love the song, but for Eurovision..... NO". So I think that's the main thing that even the ones who love it (and still want to listen and hear it on radiostations) knew that we had better options for Eurovision.

Same here. So many people told me Kuumaa is their favourite song but as far as Eurovision potential goes, they wanted to vote for Käärijä.

This is a drinking song. Basically, story of Finnish drinkers... the lyrics are hilarious, with the crazy styling ;D)))

Eurovision 2023 top 3 prediction: Sweden, Norway, Finland.

I disliked this first, and couldn't get this at all. But now, I'm a fan. And came up with this way of interpreting the show: There is a story told by the choreography, in sync with the lyrics. It's a story of someone who is limiting his own identity to be only tough and masculine, but who really wants to break free from strong inhibitions, mental and social barriers, liberate the full personality, express feminine part of it as well, and have fun on the dance floor. In the choreography, the initial setting is symbolized by the ropes to the dancers, tied by the inhibitions, making the dancers puppets of them. The liberation process requires getting intoxicated, drinking piña coladas and pints of beer with both hands. Finally, this works. There's harmony and happiness! 🥳
