Finishing an absolutely MASSIVE Eeveelution Pokémon Perler!! Must WATCH! Pixel

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to my Pokémon Perler Bead journey! Follow along as I create all of your favorite Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. From Bulbasaur to Charizard, I'm making them all with high-quality Perler and Hama beads. Watch my time-lapse videos and see how I bring these beloved characters to life in pixel art form.
As an avid fan of all things Pokémon, I decided to embark on the ultimate perler bead challenge - creating a massive artwork featuring every single Eeveelution! Armed with my trusty collection of Perler beads and a whole lot of enthusiasm, I dove headfirst into this epic project. Each Eeveelution was like a new adventure, with its own unique set of colors and patterns to create. It was both challenging and incredibly rewarding to watch the artwork slowly come together piece by piece. As I completed each Eeveelution, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride at what I was creating. Now that it's finished, I'm absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. It's a true masterpiece and a testament to the power of creativity and passion. If you're a fan of Pokémon perler bead designs, this one is definitely a must-see!
Join me on this colorful and creative journey, and let's catch 'em all together!

    Now make it again but them shiny! (The side by side comparison of that would be epic) Also I am sooo glad that it didn’t get messed up on the melt. Love the snom in the background as well. Also how many beads did you use? And how long did it take (like amount time placing beads)

    oh man having a side by side would be really cool. Ill have to make a new sprite for the shinies. It was about 8k beads total and took me roughly 22 hours for just the beads part. A bit more to iron, poke holes, etc.

    You probably already thought of this, but you could probably lay a big piece of cardboard under the peg boards, lay the beads, tape them, then put another big piece of cardboard over the tape-side, squeeze pieces of cardboard like a sandwich, and quickly flip? So now the pegboard side is on top, and all you have to do is remove the pegboards from the beads. I imagine I could take the anxiety/risk out of flipping the piece by holding it only by the tape!

    That would for sure be the best way to do it. I usually only do that if the beads are already messed up. Generally (lol) they will stick to the tape

    To cover the perler with tape, remove it from the plates and then iron it is so much smarter... I need to try this! I made some Christmas tree ornaments last year and ruined two plates because they melted at the tips while ironing... very frustrating!

    As someone who has no familiarity with perler beads... why does it need to be taped and flipped? Can't you just iron it as it's on the plastic holders or would that cause issues?

  • @beadamonpixels

    @beadamonpixels

    Жыл бұрын

    The tape allows me to pull the whole perler design off those plastic pegboards. The pegboards arent heat resistant and melt under the beads if you iron directly on them.

    My last couple melts have gone awry sadly with blowouts. It’s only because I have such a small iron so when I do my large perlers I get screwed because they all can’t stay warm. I’ve noticed that some beads melt differently than others especially like pastel yellow feels like that takes longer than other colours. Was wondering if you got any suggestions for beads that melt slower than others or what might be better

  • @beadamonpixels

    @beadamonpixels

    Жыл бұрын

    I assume you are doing the tape method similar to how i do it? Poking all the holes in the tape before ironing? Also are you using all the same brand? Mixing brands will absolutely cause the melt to be more difficult. There's a lot of suggestions but the main ones i would say is to make sure you arent pushing too hard or hitting the same spots more then others. I've pushed too hard before and caused blowouts even with the holes in the tape.

    @@beadamonpixels correct I use the tape method like all holes and make sure of it and all beads are from perler. I do press hard sometimes so that could definitely be it for sure so next time definitely won’t press as hard appreciate it!

    Once you have taped the beads, lay one of those really big A1 pieces of card over your design and use it to help flip your work. Then you can just pull up the boards straight from the back of the beads.That way there is less chance of some beads not making it at all, less chance of some moving, and less chance of missing beads that you are unable to see due i be. Most of all, you wouldnt have to poke thousands of holes!! You can also do the smaller ones thos way too. Thank for your videos x
