I notice Lucas' right thumb is on the leather - I do the same as a viola player (big hands as well).

Is there a way to notate a Finger Replacement? Would you just label the original fingering and then label the other finger metrically where it would occur on the note?

Do you happen to live in VT.? My cousin lives there and she had a friend that taught college level violin. She hosted parties at her home. Im only asking because your name sounds so familiar. My cousin is Denise.
