As a wounded combat vet. I would like to say THANK YOU for keeping this message going.
I served. Love this song...coming home after combat is a hard hard adjustment. I moved to SE Asia to get away from stupid questions. I lived off and on in Vietnam for 2 years, don't get it twisted, they treated me great. Love my VN friends. ❤

I am a 54 year old 100% Disabled combat Vet. I left a large portion of myself in the "sandbox". My Relatives, the VA, and the Internet are my link to this world now. After viewing your reactions to this and other videos (Ive seen thousands) I know that you understand. Thank you for your service. A meaningful deposit into the account from which the cost of freedom is payed.

Right on brother 60 years old navy veteran
You're a real one, great reaction and sincerity.
Thank you for doing this song and spreading the word about the things we face as veterans and I am a disabled retired veteran of 15 years and they have several other songs that you should react to Gone away Blue on black Remember everything Wash it all away Bad company Are just a few songs that they have that help spread awareness about what we face as veterans
The part when they're arresting him and notice he was in their same military unit with matching tattoos... Gets me every time 😥
I want to thank you so much. Served 4 years in Afghanistan. We got ambushed by 15 Taliban members. Our translator was shot dead and I instantly attacked, was shot through my left arm, and carried on! Took his life in hand to hand. Then was attacked with a machete on that same arm. And I’m doing great. PTSD IS NOOOOOOOO JOKE. HAVENT SLEPT WELL IN 14 YEARS
You are the first to send this love this way to begin this reaction video. Thank you for sending true love and respect. I am the mother of a disabled vet. I'm using her youtube to watch this. She is married to a veteran who fell through the man made cracks. Bless you sir.
Im a vet who spent 3 years as a homeless drunk due to PTSD and survivors guilt every time i hear this song it breaks me because i was there i know what it feels like to be lost and broken with no hope in sight just waiting for the end to come the thing that saved me was my nephews i didnt want them to grow up just hearing stories of who there uncle was before he killed himself
This band does a lot to support veterans and first responders. They use veterans in their videos as actors and employe vets for other projects.
Thank you for watching this video. Can tell you actually get this. Marine vet, I lost 2 brothers while I was in and 3 more to their own hands after we got out. 22 a day haunts me. Semper Fi to all my warrior brothers and sisters until we drink a horn in Valhalla. NEVER FORGOTTEN USMC PS. I know your cousin is proud of you and so is this Marine.
Thank you. Not enough people actually give a damn these days.
Thank you young man. I wish you the best of Luck in your endeavor. I'm a Veteran. Disabled mentally from things. I got ur back. One love n God Bless you
I love watching and listening to you. For someone so young in this day and time we'll your generation. You don't find this generation with your heart❤. They only think about them selves.
From a veteran I appreciate you thanking me.

When in the military it's kill or be killed. One commandment says Thou shall not kill. Thats why their on the wrong side of heaven. In hell all the worst of humanity goes, but your on the righteous side of hell because serving in the military its your job to kill the enemy and your a good person.
Aussie combat vet And when I get to heavens gates to St Peter l’ll say “Legionnaire reporting in l’ve done my time in hell” l’ll see my brothers/sisters in Valhalla 🇦🇺🇺🇸
I served but never saw combat. Which after talking and learning of my aunt, my hero, of why she was discharged. Humvee convey and it got hit by the Taliban. Her best friend was the driver and she was in the point humvee. They hit an ied and it flipped the humvee. Everyone but her was dead. And her shoulder was pinned between the roof and her best friends seat. She couldn't reach her rifle and couldn't move so she waited until the shooting stopped. And the Taliban won the engagement. So she played dead even as a Taliban member stripped her of her weapons and ammo. She even described how he smelled and his rotten breath in her face. It took about six hours for a rescue team in choppers came and found her inside. She was the only survivor in the whole convoy. And she was honorably discharged afterwards. She struggled with her mental health till the day she died. And she died fighting a woman beater who laid hands on one of her friends. Dudes in prison. She got a brain bleed after the fight. Even though she kicked his ass she got undiagnosed head trauma and a week later the blood swelled her brain and it took her. My Auntie Darcie is still and always be my hero.
All the numbers since this video came out have at least doubled. The suicide rate for veterams currently is 22 per day.

❤️❤️🙏Thank you love , he is the face tattoo on my arm . U can see it in my recent videos! A disabled veteran! Just to comeback home and die from shit cancer ! It’s life ! That’s why I wish all y’all blessings ❤️🙏🥺
First time I heard this song it right away became my jam and almost made me cry, but the only thing that bothers me about it is how they refer to god as “she” and I try to ignore that part
The statistics are horrible. WWI and WWII were the honored wars. Korea you could see a turn on how people felt about that conflict. Vietnam war veterans sadly were treated horribly like they were criminals. There were no cheap housing for them, no parades to welcome them back, they were treated like they were an embarrassment. Military hospitals were filled past capacity. Then every other conflict after, the treatment may even be worse for returning military. They went where they were told, did what was expected but treated horribly upon return.
For all my brothers in arms that the system has fucked! Magyarországról (from Hungary) szeretlek titeket (I love y'all)🪖❤️ And now let me get back to the vid Ps thank you for your service should not be a common stance expression Thank you for saving lives, my heart brakes for all my brothers. Fuck war! Edit: fuck ptsd, this is shell-shock
