Thank you for the soap box! I've not seen many reactors do that and I appreciate it. Thank you for all you have done for our country and thank you for your service as a police officer. I am a fairly new subscriber and I'm truly happy I found your channel! Blessed Be to you and your family.

Thank you for watching this video. I lost 2 brothers while I was in and 3 since we got out to their own hands. 22 a day is a number that should never happen. I had a bullet with my name etched into it for years after I got out. To all my warrior brothers and sisters out there, until we meet and drink a horn in Valhalla. Semper Fi. NEVER FORGOTTEN USMC PS. climb that soap box all you want brother. We need more people like you.

I’ve watched this video so many times and it still makes me cry every time, as a veteran, a blue star mom, a patriot, and a human being. Great reaction! I agree 100% with everything you said on your soapbox. Boomer Sooner and HOOAH!

I remember when I first saw this video, crying and crying. Then showing it to everyone I knew. Years later I met my husband who is a 1992 Gulf War veteran and didn't share it with him for a long time because this is the kind of thing that triggers his PTSD. Thank you for your service and for keeping the message alive.

First of all, from one Greg D to another, I wish I was built like you, Secondly, I am a proud veteran of the Falklands war and I just came back wrong and I only wish that someone these people that demean soldiers from any country because their "crazy" saw half things we did and see if they are still the same when they get back.

This video breaks my heart every time I see it. I served in the Army Reserve for 8+ years but was very fortunate that I was never in a combat situation. The fact that any veteran is not getting the help they need is a disgrace. 22 a day is 22 too many.

Thank you for your service. I am a veteran with PTSD. I won’t kill myself because I wouldn’t give the VA the satisfaction. But I hope I don’t wake up tomorrow. The new suicide hotline number is 988! The veteran congressman put it through so we only had to dial three numbers. I appreciate that.

Thank you my sons Army nephews Marines and Navy uncles and grandfathers Army Navy Marines all are dealing with PTSD my youngest sons father left when I was 9 weeks pregnant told me wasn’t his he had a vasectomy I didn’t understand why until recently when my son wanted answers his dad killed himself when he was 2 what we didn’t know was he served in Afghanistan and I met him 25 days after he got home he never told me he was military or served and then my best friend growing up who served with my sons dad in Afghanistan shot himself in the head while his kids were in the house….. ptsd is very serious and our veterans should be treated better not just by us fellow Americans but from our Government instead of foreign aid how about we make sure our veterans and first responders are taking care of first! Sorry for throwing my story out there like this but my heart is broken it doesn’t only affect the service members they have enough to deal with and then adding the family toll on them too not right at all! From this humbled Army mom or military family May God Bless you all and Thank you all and your families for your service God Speed!

The facts in this video is so messed up. My grandpa was a Vietnam veteran, back in 2007 I was 10 years old, came home from baseball practice and my grandpa showed me how to make something he called a "poor man's steak" which was just fried bologna, but after he finished makin me a plate I sat down, next thing I know he said "Nate I love you, but you shouldn't be in here right now" not even 5 seconds went by, he grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed himself to death. I'm 24 years old today and that's still something that really messes with my head. I just wish I could have taken the knife away from him before he did it. RIP papa.

@@chuck8571 I ended up spending two months at a locked unit in a pilot PTSD treatment program. It saved my life, unfortunately it was the death of my Cav Scout husband that was the final trigger. Still not sure if it was an accidental overdose or suicide - he went the self medication route rather than treatment and I couldn’t pull him back.

@@chuck8571 Thank you. I was lucky enough to still be active duty when everything came home to roost and have 5 grown kids. Between my command and my kids, I was able to get the help I needed before I hit bottom. I'm now a forensic counselor in a court diversion program for mental illness. If your criminality is based in your mental illness, we get you out of jail, stabilize your mental health, treat substance abuse, either help you find a job or help you file for disability benefits if you qualify, secure you a place to live and set you up with aftercare. We get a lot of vets whose charges don't qualify for vet court. Every day I get to make a positive impact every single day and that helps so much with my struggles. It helps when I see vets make it out of the spiral. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome reaction!!! I am new subscriber and I just went through your reactions. I noticed that you have done mostly country and rock so I am not sure if you like rap or if you are willing to react to it. Some of the points you have made in some of your reactions made me think that you may like an artist by the name of Tom Macdonald. A few songs to check out if you are willing: Ashes- this song has a rock feel to it Fake Woke Castles I think this would also show his versatility.

As a Veteran I think of all the military bases sitting empty that were closed the past couple decades. Why not start funneling money into revamping them and turning them into VA centers for homeless Vets and less well off Vets. You will have a VA hospital there and security etc.

I don't understand why you attack the folks you call Illegal and only have sympathy and love for folks you can personally relate to..... It feels like you miss the point when you rail against one group to tell a story about another. It's not about being mean to illegals or kind to vets- its about abolishing the rich having the need to sell you on the idea of limited good- we can all have a better life through kindness.
