As someone who is trying to be the best version of herself, I’m so glad I have you to teach deportment and manners. You’re the most helpful etiquette teacher I’ve come across, thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos, your followers and I appreciate it very much. I would love to watch the wine pairing and choices videos if you do make it. Thank you Jamila! Love and respect from India

This video is all wrong. This woman has no clue what etiquette is. Please go and re-educate yourself.
My husband was fortunate to inherit 19c china, crystal, and silverware. When we have dinner parties, elderly friends know the bone marrow spoon, the fish knife, butter knife, and various spoons, etc. it is such a joy to "dine" at one's own home with linen table cloth and napkins and candle light. Such times are diminishing but why? These experiences are very special, romantic, and induce good conversation! People quaff, gobble up, eat fast, and do not dine. Dining is an experience itself! We can advance and enjoy modernity AND retain vintage styles! Thank you for educating us on etiquette!
Lady I’m so thankful for your etiquette videos. They’ve helped me become my best version! I rewatch them and learn. Loads of love and blessings to you💕

One time a large group of my friends went to a fancy restaurant and the waiter didnt come take their order for a whole hour. They were discussing this aloud when a kind fellow customer informed them that they should try closing their menu. As soon as they all did, the waiter came to take their order.
Your make up is outrageously slaying

Thank you for a wonderful video ❤️ I love that I see non round plates. I have always been labeled as messy plate eater, meaning my plate is a mess when I'm eating 😆 I have reduced movement in my plate (I don't drag food to other places in my plate, I collect food where it is placed in my plate ☺️) and it worked for me ☺️❤
Thank you so much Jamila for your videos! ❤

I do have a question.... I noticed that you mainly eat with your fork facing down . I am American and I've never seen that before. Is it because it is a more elegant way to eat or is that a European style?

I just watched the trailer for your new course, and was a bit sad 😌that I won't be able to pay for it until next year. And then, this video popped up🎉! Almost feels like you're a mind reader😊. You answered a lot of questions I've been too embarrassed to ask anybody. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and wisdom FREELY with strangers like me. I could never thank you enough. I found you barely a month ago, and I can't tell you how proud I am of my new self. Every day, I watch at least one of your videos, and I have a plan to watch all old and new videos (and someday, pay for your courses and join your Patreon Club). I pray for you like I'd pray for my big sis. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now I can go into my 30s feeling like a million bucks. 👏❤❤❤

First of all your videos are amazing and really helpful . And I have a request that you also make videos about eastern dinning etiquettes as well , because as an Indian I have seen many non- Indians trying Indian food and most of the times while eating Indian food one have to use their hands , so many people don't know how to eat it properly and they ends up eating it in the most improper way possible for example using both the hands , which is not acceptable ( for some exceptions) . So please if you could make a video about it .
Un énorme merci 🔥

Hello Jamila! I've been a dedicated viewer of your content for over two years, and I truly adore your work. Thank you sincerely for generously sharing your thoughts and knowledge online. Your content has become a valuable reference, significantly raising the bar for my own behavior and how I let people into my life. I find myself in a much better, happier place now compared to 2-3 years ago, and your success has undoubtedly played a part in that journey. :) Last year, I enrolled in your online course. I love how it gets straight to the point, is beautifully shot, and I'm eagerly looking forward to more courses on your website in the future. it's a bit embarrassing to admit but there is one thing I still do wrong and I just don't know how to fix it. Certain foods, like groats, rice, and finely chopped vegetables, are very challenging when trying to follow the correct fork-holding technique. I wonder if I simply need more practice, if the meals could be served more conveniently, or if a different approach is needed for these types of foods. It just all falls down from my fork. I often see people eating these kinds of food using forks like spoons, and I give up and do the same thing. Since now I am aware it's poor manners/ incorrect, I always feel embarrassed even if I am home alone and no one can see me. It would be incredibly helpful if you could create another video specifically addressing how to eat these and other challenging foods correctly. Your content is invaluable to me, and I can never get enough of it. Thank you once again for your inspiring work! Marianna

Take a small bite, use your tongue and lips to take the food in your mouth and don't let the teeth click against the utensils. Chew well in a normal pace and swallow. Smaller bites help a lot!
Thank you Jamila for this video, I always enjoy these kind of videos so much! Just one question, I'm left handed, I was taught to use the fork on the left hand and the knife in the right hand, as right handed people, but what about the spoon? It is ok to change the spoon to my dominant hand? I don't think I could eat a delicate food like a liquid soup with my right hand whithout spilling it everywhere.
