As a police officer in an urban environment I often joke how I hunt two legged animals but it is the hunts for the 4 legged animals that cleans my soul. It allows me to clear my mind to return to my day job more focused. This video is exactly how I feel. When I return home 1000 miles from an elk hunt I am so ready to go again. It is in my blood. Great video.

Even though I don't live out west nor have the $$$ to go to Alaska this speaks to me. Very inspring and true. Heck I wouldn't mind being out there with just a camera taking pics and videos let alone hunting such amazing and beautiful country and game animals.

Bravo, fantastic production. I moved to Wyoming 3 years ago and my son and I have hunted hard for 3 years for elk and we are still in the “less than one “ club. Awesome video! Makes me want to plan my next adventure. A great voice for the hunting community. Question though, how do you pack styrofoam cups into the backcountry? And would your wife say you’re marginal as a husband and an excellent hunter... that bothered me for some reason. Balance, it’s a difficult dance I also am learning
