Finding The Perfect Riverside Chinese Town: Fenghuang Is A DREAM! (China vlog 2019 凤凰 湖南)

Tucked away deep inside China's Hunan province, is the picture-perfect riverside town of Fenghuang. Fenghuang town, sometimes called the phoenix town, isn't on most westerners' China itineraries - but it should be! From narrow cobblestoned alleys to rickety stilt houses perched right on the river, you'll repeatedly have to pinch yourself to see if you're not dreaming. And the best part? If you're lucky, you can have Fenghuang Hunan mostly to yourself - give or take a few Chinese ;)
We highly recommend visiting Fenghuang old town (also called Fenghuang gucheng), if you're planning a China trip! We promise you won't be disappointed :)
We hope you enjoyed this China vlog & the fun-loving town of Fenghuang China - there are many more videos to come as we travel China for the next few weeks! Well, I'd suggest the one in Royal Gorge in southern Colorado (a bit of a trip from where you currently are) as it's high enough he could break out a BASE Jumping chute and survive. Unless you're doing this for other reasons?

    hi. I am a fan of yours from bilibili(like KZread). Phoenix ancient city is not a good choice, in fact, it is not very friendly to tourists, whether it is price or other is not very reasonable. If you like the mountains and waters, you can come to Guizhou, Guangxi, if you like food, you can go to Sichuan Guangdong, if you like very pure nature, you can go to Qinghai Tibet, like history, you can go to Beijing Shaanxi. In short, my advice is to try not to go to very famous places, because once some places become an attraction, a lot of things will change, no longer the original appearance, more for economic development and services

Supposed to be great for circulation and other health issues. And silver. Some of the finest highest quality silverware available here, 99.99 pure silver!!! Naick & Kim correct . just like our Chinese see the video about EU.yes ,it is beautiful and another culture ,u can visit and experience ,but if stay long ,it’s not good idea . If u live in a city for a long time, what you feel just bad things ,it’s easy to forget its prosperity and convenience. But after leaving, if u come as a tourist to visit the city again, everywhere is scenery . This is probably why people like to travel. Get along with things and people are about the same,.take long time, all the advantages will become a habit, all the disadvantages will be magnified. I really admire those people who have the courage to marry. It is difficult to maintain a long and strong relationship.

    Hi I will be in China in november for a month. I have few questions for you .. thank you in advance for answering May l ask what application you use for train booking? Navigation for location? Do you manage to have wechat fir payment ? Or paying using cash? Any problem with ATM for cash withdrawal? Thank you

  • @NaickKim

    @NaickKim

    4 жыл бұрын

    We used www.chinahighlights.com/china-trains/ for train booking. I also heard you can use ctrip.com For navigation we used maps.me - also the Didi taxi app is sometimes very convenient for navigation as it contains pretty much all restaurants and hotels. A lot of times this is not the case on maps.me No, you can't use wechat pay unless you have a Chinese bank account. We used cash as credit cards are pretty much not used here anymore. You can withdraw at ATM's but not all of them, for us ICBC, CITIC and HSBC all worked well. I think China Construction bank also worked for us. Others like Bank Of China, China postal, etc. we could not use. You can find lots of ICBC's.
