Yeah, Dipplin’s head is the fore-wyrm and its tail is the core-wyrm according to its Pokédex entry in Violet. Also, the Sinnoh starter you get from the egg is random. Both my cousin and I got Piplup and I chose Fuecoco while he chose Quaxly.

Seeing kinggambit and the bisharp bodyguards made me think Mikey walked into a shogunate hideout 😅

i like to think that the reason pokemon made vikavolt too slow is that they didn't want to make a bug type pseudo (yes, i think vikavolt deserves like 100 more speed stats literally look at its entriees)

They could've gone the ninjask route and made it fast and very frail (not quite that fast but much stronger). Assuming it kept that Sp Atk stat it would've been better due to much better offense and a better typing.

The out break that you couldn't find was probably a ghost type and feebas is also a very rare pokemon to find in the wild

I think you and Katie both getting Chimchar was just a coincidence as I also picked Quaxly and got a Piplup from the egg.

A prism scale next to a Feebas raid is destiny. It has to be. I remember wanting a Milotic so much in gen 3, but never finding a Feebas to evolve into one. The pinnacle of bulky water types back then. Special bulk so high that even super effective moves would be a 3 hit KO.

The stone circle just made me think “if I put a rock here then Korak”

Hearing Mikey even mention Yo-Kai Watch just makes me feel happy that he knows of it.

Did you notice that the Timeless Woods fauna consists very heavily of Pokemon that got new forms/evolutions in Legends Arceus? Sliggoo, Sneasel, Stantler, Basculin...

That mystery raid seemed to be a dusclops outbreak, as it had changed from a mystery raid. Maybe the reason why it didn’t appear was because it was a nighttime only spawn, thus not triggering the outbreak to show the pokemon.

Just how you caught that feebas from the raid then instantly found the prism scale after saying it would take you a while to get it made me laugh so hard I love watching you play Pokemon

Looking forward to seeing how Mikey reacts to Blood Moon Ursaluna

I like to think that the wild Kingambit and Bisharp were plotting to annihilate the tera dusklops

Ogerpon is currently competing with Iron Moth for the place of my favorite gen IX Pokemon... and that's saying something, since I really like the Violet Paradox 'mon, especially that robotic Volcarona. But Ogerpon... it's really cute *and* quite strong *and* has an interesting backstory... Teal Mask may have a lot of performance issues, but I'm happy that it brought us this Pokemon.

Eh, the Auspicious beasts are tied to the Chinese classical elements and i think the masks are more inline with those than the beasts. Fun fact, tho, the Forces of Nature, (Or as people incorrectly name them, the Legendary Genies. They're Kami mixed with greek gods of the four winds, they just look like Genie.) their Therian forms are physically inspired by the 4 auspicious beasts. Tornadus=Vermillion Bird, Thunderus=Azure Dragon, Landorus=White Tiger, and Enamorus=Black Tortise. So, we could eventually get Quartet Master a la Lugia, Ho-oh and Regigas who's Therian Form could be the Yellow Dragon/Quilin. Would dig it for the lore, even though Arceus made the FoN my least favorite legends.

Reminder that there's a quick health restore feature. Instead of going into the bag to select potions you can just hover over the pokemon in your party and press the (-) button on the switch. It will use the smallest healing items first, but heals them all the way back to full. Hope this helps 👍🏻

It’s a great feature, but I really hate how it uses the smallest ones first. I wish it would maximize to use the least amount of items. If my Pokémon needs 59 HP restored, I’d rather use 1 super potion than 3 potions, so the positions can be saved for smaller stuff

That moment at 20:54 was ✨AMASHING✨ with the fact that the Feebas raid was right next to it😂

There's a pond specifically for Feebas. A cave underneath Tera Glimmora will take you to a hole, fall down the hole and move over to the pond. Once your in the pond just look for bubbles and one will float up. Hope this helps.👍🏻

Spoiler warning, but here’s a little fun fact. The eviolite works on Dipplin, meaning it not only has an evolution, but it’s technically already in the game.

Just gonna throw this idea out there. I think a playthrough of digimon story cyber slueth as team sky or grunty boy would be hilarious. I imagine the utter confusion would make for a lot of good jokes.

For any mark hunters, the item finder is fixed. Half of the sparkles or poke balls you pick up will not give you items, but I let an iron hands out and it picked up 4 fake items and 3 real items, and it got the mark. I don’t know the odds, but I hope it doesn’t take too long for anyone else.

As someone who evolved a Basculegion in Teal Mask yesterday, it's actually not as difficult compared to PLA, I think. I just spammed Wave Crash and Takedown while battling a ton of random wild spawns on Oni Mountain, healed up after every battle, fed it one XL EXP Candy and I had the ghost fish not half an hour after catching Basculin.

Hey mikey, without spoiling anything, when you get 150 pokemon registered in the Kitakami pokedex, talk to perrin in Mossui town, and you can get a special version of a pokemon with a signature move. I won't say what it is for spoiler reasons, but it's the only way to get it, you can only get one, it's shiny locked, and it has unique battle music. (If anyone knows what it is, please don't mention it, I want it to be as big of a surprise as possible)

When you go to an outbreak that doesn’t show the Pokemon immediately, that means it’s a time-sensitive Pokemon. You likely got a Pokemon’s outbreak that spawns only at night

My girlfriend completed the DLC last night and found 2 full odds shinies, a shiny Noibat and a Shiny Quagsire we were both absolutely surprised about it.

During the day, I went into that cave and there was no Pokémon other than swinub, when I went into it at night however I got the notification that I found the duskull outbreak.

so fun fact about the crit capture "bug". On a pokemon you have already registered to your pokedex, if you do not get the crit capture animation, then you failed to capture. The reason you thought it was fixed was because a lot of the pokemon you caught were new to your pokedex, so it doesn't auto crit capture animation

I picked Quaxley and got Turtwig 🤔 Also I ended up finding two shinies in Kitakami today just running around 😂 I found a Swinub and then while I was trying to catch a Jangmo-O, a shiny Sandshrew was standing behind my character just waiting there for me

I don't think that the random sinnoh starter from the egg follows what you chose in bdsp, I chose turtwig in bd and sprigatito in violet and I got piplup.
