He’s got to be a 9-year-old mentally after that point, because he’s not using battle items in battle.

For those who don't know, Blood Moon is a 140 base power, 100% accurate, normal type move that works like gigaton hammer, in which it can't be used twice in a row. that combined with calm mind is DEVASTATING Edit: It's stronger than I thought. Blood Moon Ursaluna's ability is absolutely broken. It allows normal type moves such as Blood Moon hit ghost types, prevents Ursaluna's accuracy from being lowered, and ignores any evasiveness boosts on the enemy.

I guess the tactic would be a Flying type or Levitate pokemon that can also resist Blood Moon, so it would need to be Rock or Steel. Sadly, there are only two such pokemon in S/V and the DLC pokedex - Bronzong and Corviknight. Altough Bronzong is a very good special wall. I wonder if Skill Swap would work, since Bronzong can learn that. In that case you could use it and then use something like Drifblim or Mismagius and be totally immune to its attacks. But idk, i dont have high hopes lol.

Given that Perrin is a descendent of Adaman, and is here in Kitakami looking for 'Bloodmoon Beast' Ursaluna, we can get a somewhat definitive answer that Kitakami is located closer to Sinnoh (Plus possibly Johto, given the design of some of the buildings around the place & the inclusion of more Johto Pokemon like Yanma, Hoothoot, Sentret, Gligar, and more).

Perrin is not only my new fav Pokémon girl, but her Hisuian Growlite! That little smile will _always_ warm my heart.

As much as I love regular ursaluna, I wish this was the only ursaluna and ursaring could evolve into it. No hate to regular ursaluna, I don’t think it’s ugly and it is overall a strong Pokémon but the blood moon version is so dope looking.

They could've done it like a Lycanroc situation.

For everyone that don’t know, if you press the right motion stick during a battle it triggers “the battle cam”. The camera will become more cinematic and move during the fight, for example zooming in on Pokémon when they enter the battle.

I usually go Double Edge instead of Wild Charge. That way you can run Tera Normal to get STAB on it as well as Extreme Speed

@@MagicalBread yes, both are egg moves. If your pokemon holds a Mirror Herb and has an empty move slot, you can start a picnic to give it any of its egg moves that a party member has (even if that party member wouldn't be a breeding partner)

Ahhh damn you missed it. You seem to like the DLC as much as me, so here's a little tip for when you eventually replay it on you other game: When you take pictures for Perrin during the Bloodmoon Beast Hunt, you can also take a picture of her Growlithe and she'll have special dialogue for this variable. She'll also have something to say when you snap a few pictures of her (yes, a few - she has multiple lines for multiple pictures you take of her) - so if you're a filthy little Perrin Simp like me - don't forget to do that!

The Perrin/Bloodmoon Ursaluna thing is one of my favorite things in recent Pokémon. I had so much fun doing it.

Carmine seems more tsundere, where she acts like she wants nothing to do with the player but secretly wants to be their friend. Nemona is pretty clear about her intentions, she really wants to battle someone stronger than her and won't take no for an answer.

Speaking of shinies, I got a shiny Spinarak while contemplating whether or not I should capture the Yanma

Btw Mikey, if you press down left stick, your pokemon will stop moving when it is in the "let's go" mode active. Basically whenever it is doing auto battle or just thrown out with ZR

This really doesn't feel like a form or evolution or anything - it feels like Pokemon's take on Deviants / Variants from Monster Hunter, a single Pokemon who's gone through some very specific, traumatic experience and survived but become more powerful & adapted as a result. It's COOL as shit. I want more of these.

I bet that blood moon ursaluna slowly learned what he can and cannot learn and probably his aproximated stats Over the years he has been alone in the forest, so he's the only wild Pokémon that cannot be dumb

Me: wants to judge Mikey over how flustered he is over Pirrin Also me: been spending all my free time woeing Astarion so he tells me I have pretty eyes

For the pokemon combatable, I transfer them to legends arceus for the evolutions. It's great

I never thought about using Topsy-Turvy on the Ursaluna after the calm minds, but that would work very well. If there was a pokemon that could learn it in SV

The Ursaluna fight was so hard! I beat it on my second try when I remembered I could use Gengar to curse it first turn and get consistent damage that way.

For your info. Fixation is a mechanic in Legend Arceus that makes Outrage and Choice Items more versatile. While Fixation is active the current move does heightened damage, but using a new move causes reduced damage

This is crazy, I was playing pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I also got myself a feebas, a shiny feebas. Apparently, there are still fishing combos, and now I have a shiny Milotic named Lass

Regarding the Tandemaus shiny...I ran into one quite by accident while training a new 'mon. I was wondering why my Chespin wasn't touching it, and bam. Could NOT tell the difference until I was in close. But I will happily take my little Squeak Squad shiny. I seriously love the PLA reference in Perrin. What a fun tribute to that game.

I fought ursaluna i almost lost to it from all the bloodmoon attacks K.O. 4 members of my team and one was in the red luckily my chandelure took care of the rest. It gave me excitement once i heard the hisui battle theme fighting ursaluna.

28:58 If I recall correctly, Fixated in Legends: Arceus means that further uses of the move that is fixated on will do more damage but you also take more damage from opponents.

For the SV DLC they changed Raging Fury function like a suped up Fire type Thrash since the fixation thing wouldn't really work in normal Pokemon combat mechanics.

@@SwiftpawWolffox I know how it works for SV, it's shown in the video. Mikey just said he didn't understand the Legends: Arceus effect so I explained that. (Also 90% sure the move was in base SV because Arcanine.) And Fixated is simply the Legends: Arceus version of moves that force successive use in other games, for both old and new moves. And Fixated was designed as an equivalent to that system for moves like it, including both old moves (like Rollout) and new moves. So it's less a change and more just the intent of the move being handled differently.

The rock is probably a mixture of clays and other hydrological altered igneous rocks. Oni Mountain appears to be a dormant volcano, the rock formations being a result of the hydrothermal system causing chemical changes in the rock turning it altered clays. It's actually pretty remarkable how accurate the depiction in this game is.

Personal headcanon regarding the Bloodmoon Beast: Its the same Ursaluna that the player uses (or USED, at least...) to traverse Hisui during the game, then fled when the player died, or perhaps another person took it with them to Kitakami. (Maybe even Ogrepons trainer? Who knows?)
