On my scarlet play through of this dlc I’m a use ogerpon against Kieran to see if anything changes. I noticed the different dialogue when I beat Lacey and she said I wish you terasralized

Dipplin's evolution is pretty straight forward, unfortunately you'll need to progress with the story to evolve him. As you know (it was in the trailers) there is an elite 4 in the terrarium. Beat the dragon guy, and he'll give you a move called "Dragon Cheer" Use the tm on Dipplin, and evolve it, you can also craft the TM if you use it on someone else.

If you listen closely to the coastal theme, you can hear a bit of the Driftveil city theme in it. Also, did anyone think of barbecue when it said BBQ's, or am I the only one

After the Kitikami dlc you became my favorite poketuber to watch these new playthroughs of. I don't know what makes it distinctive but for some reason you're just a ton of fun to watch. I'm looking forward to watching the whole playthrough

I love the nods to the gen 5 music in the indigo disk! I did a nuzlocke of Black over a year ago and decided my team for this portion of the DLC would be made up of representatives of that playthrough. They are Serperior (the shiny one I brought from Pokémon Go), Conkeldurr, Swanna, Chandelure, Zebstrika, and Gothitelle.

Battle Music here really hit like a Roar of Time... Real blast from the past.

The BB Elite Four was amazing. It was tough but not BDSP tough, and I actually had to strategize and plan builds to deal with them but it was still a ton of fun.

Having both the indigo disk and help wanted 2 drop on the same day is giving me whiplash from all the new content I get to listen to while I slightly disassociate

I love Michael's excitement with the track outfit

It's really cool because there's like a merge of Unova and Alola going on, which makes a ton of sense because it would likely be somewhere between both geographically. There's even faint motifs of both Unovan and Alolan music tracks I've noticed in many of the Blueberry tracks which is a nice touch (also makes me think something's going on with Z-Crystals, Gems, and Tera, they're very similar all having elemental boosts to attacks so it would track that there's something fishy going on between the three)

Same for me! I was still a child when Pokémon Black and White were released and fell in love with the Unova region! Just hearing the battle music hit me so much with nostalgia and then all the hints to Unova, just… Finally Unova isn’t as under appreciated as it used to be.

You evolve Dipplin by teaching it Dragon Cheer, which is only by TM, which you can get from beating Drayton.

Drayton’s trial is probably my favorite, I know you can challenge him with your original team once your done but it just takes away from the magic of using what you have in the terrarium to make a new team. I felt pretty confident with mine and decided to use it for a little while long, then I put them in their own box called “The Misfits”

Love how Carmain calls Drayton toothpaste haired bozo 😂😂😂 I was thinking the same thing

The fact that the battle themes are remixes of the music from Black and White makes me so happy

Time to traumatize Kieran even more🙃

I absolutely love that the League Club uniform is basically a track/cross country uniform (complete with running shorts 🔥)

Zebstrika is now usable, this dlc added what’s basically electric-type High Jump Kick which acts as a good physical electric move with no constant recoil like Wild Charge

Pro tip: to get the starters you have to save up blueberry points and spend them to increase the diversity of Pokémon to find in each region(the starters)

I really love this DLC. I’m having so much fun. Yeah, it’s sucks that everything is shiny locked, but other than that it’s way better than the crown tundra

Within my first hour of playing the dlc I had found a shiny Golett without even shiny hunting for it, which worked out fantastically because I wanted to use a shiny Golurk on my team because it's my favorite Pokemon

Good thing he had that ursaluna in his team with that first battle. Those little pika-clones wiped almost half my team with their dual spam of Discharge. They both have their hidden abilities, so plusle would keep getting a special attack boost thanks to Lightning Rod, and minun would keep healing from Volt Absorb.

Snivy, Tepig, Blitzle, Pikipek, and Minior are the five Pokemon lines that make their Switch game debut in this DLC

Here's my hypothesis for Unovan parentage: Lacey is Clay's daughter, Drayton is Drayden's son, Crispin is Chili's son, and Amarys is possibly Lenora's daughter. (Edit) Scratch that, I just found out Drayton is actually Drayden's grandson!

Lacey actually had lighting rod and not plus and minus as abilities. She used discharge to give herself a boost against me

I gotta say the music for the overworld when Mikey when Mikey explores sometimes sounds like good themes song on some section of it and I can’t get it out of my head

Drayton is very similar sounding to Drayden I think he could be someone like a son, nephew, or grandson. Hopefully we’ll see an appearance from Drayden

You need to use Ogrepon when you fight Keiran. You get special dialogue if you throw it out in the battle

I love that in the biomes, they use different Gen 5 town themes as the motifs/leitmotifs. Very cool. Then again, it makes sense, since it's a Unova school.

I only had ogrepon and my tinkaton in my party because they're both really strong and so i was overly confident and lacey absolutely floored me in the first battle

You do have to catch the regional variants. They register different in the BB academy dex.

The plusle and Minun actually have different abilities, the minun used an electric move to hit everyone and plusle wasnt faced by it,so yeah. And all these trainers hab double battle strategies,its really tough

They buffed Zebstrika by giving it a much better movepool in this game. I hope you use one.

One Pokémon I have to recommend for use in the indigo disk; Iron fist Golurk. Give it a punching glove and three punching moves and it will destroy most of the BB elite four. Shadow punch, earthquake, thunder punch and fire punch get the best results. Stat boosts 150 into Atk and spread the rest equally between Def, SP.Def and Speed.

I had my zebstrika be tera grass to resist ground and boost trailblaze to 60 base power. Along with supercell slam, low kick, and smart strike. But I also considered tera water and tera blast in place of trailblaze. Using any ability is good because it provides an immunity

Ive been watching this series & your teal mask series on repeat. I still watch the scarlet playlist too. Lol. I love when the notification for a new video in this series comes in!
