While this isnt a full assassin game, its armour and weapons are bloody awesome, especially when you can upgrade most and their appearance changes

You never play as an assassin. Valhalla is all about Eivor getting caught up in the affairs of the Assassins and Templars while being reluctant to join either side. Most people who understand the premise enjoy it for what it is. Most people who have many misconceptions hate it for what it isn't.

As in I want to play as an Assassin who is badass and has a cool personality and I want the interesting lore we had in the older games and also a well written modern day setting and gameplay. This game should have been called. Vikings: Journey To Valhalla. Not Assassin creed. This isn't a one time thing. Odyssey also isn't about AC. Black Flag if we are honest is more of a pirate game. However it at least respects what came before it. Alot of people have faith in Mirage However I think Ubisoft has just forgotten how to make a good AC game.

I hate the ones that claim themselves the "og ac fans" are constantly shitting with this game, however they were the ones too who where the loudest when Syndicate and Unity came out, by saying its becoming repetitive. These 3 games (valhalla-origins-odyssey) were made this way because the times they were set in was better with rpg elements than with the usual stealth system. If you dont like it go back and enjoy the "good ol' ones", and dont make other people feel that this game is a piece of shit, cause it aint. And if you really cant fucking bear even the sight of these gamey, then be happy, cause Mirage will be just like the og ones.

Actually you don't need to. As long as you follow the main campaign, you will soon come across a campaign where you need to hunt down and defeat witches. Each provide a piece of Thor's Armor. You'll eventually complete them. That is the key to picking up Mjolnir in Norway. It's quite a steep climb though.

And the game does almost a perfect job with letting you pretend to be Thor. The armor cloth should be red, not blue. And the feet should have had wings like the helmet, and the hammer should have been throwable. But these are such small nitpicks, they let you just be Thor and get pretty much almost everything right.

Because it’s trying to be accurate to the mythology…. God of wars ragnaroks mjolnir and valhallas mjolnir is meant to look more like the real mythology as opposed to marvels which isn’t based on the mythology

I often encourage people to go in blind, ignoring critics since everyone has different "game taste". However, if you are tight on the budget right now and have different games you find appealing at the moment, you might want to hold off on getting Ragnarok, at least for now. Worthiness is purely an MCU thing. AC pulls from classic Norse. You just need to be very strong to pick up Mjolnir. In the game, the armor set is the key to enahncing Eivor's strength.

That's funny cause assassins creed Valhalla is the best game since black flag not a single person i know or have talked to liked a single assasins Creed game after black flag till Valhalla. And tbh the old games were boring :/ i remember playing them on ps3 and xbox 360 the first one the second one and the third one were boring and basic AF! I'd rather play a true stealth game like splinter cell. Black flag oddesy and Valhalla were the only good games where the ones that didn't focus completely on some basic bitch stealth mission gameplay mechanics

As much as I loved how the classics unfolded story-wise, most people deny how easy and simplistic the combat mechanics were before Origins. You only die when you slip up. AC Brotherhood's training arena is the very best example of this. Hitbox-based combat allows the players to express their own fighting style.

No, it's not the Marvel mythos. In traditional Norse, you just have to be very strong to wield Mjolnir. In this case, the armor is required so your strength is amplified.

I had my time of enjoyment but apparently, Ubisoft is in deep water right now financially. Perhaps that's why fantastical skins came out like Monster Hunter and Destiny 2 in-game - losing its essence. They've been releasing titles on Steam again as well, to perhaps boost up sales on whatever assets they have.
