Finding Love as a Noahide, Two Conversion Attempts and Making Aliyah

In this week's Jerusalem Lights podcast, Jim Long and Rabbi Chaim Richman host Hillel Penrod, a righteous convert to Judaism who has traversed many worlds on his way to his home in the Land of Israel with his wife and children. Hillel shares their personal and inspiring story which includes their transition from Christianity to Noahide to Judaism, studying in a yeshiva, their conversion and wedding experiences, moving to Israel and much more. Hillel is a cartoonist who seeks to educate children in traditional Torah values, and he creates 'Torah comic books' for kids. You can read about his comic book heroes here: linktr.ee/newherocomics

Hillel Penrod (cartoonist) and his wife Ayelet (email marketing) from Dallas, now live in Israel. Hillel travelled to a new land like Abraham.

As a reliable source, their first marriage was in Mertzon, Texas not San Angelo which is 22 miles away. The source, I am Ayelet's father!

Love this interview! It's helpful to hear those with extensive experience on the Noahide path, including taking it to the level of conversion as Hillel has. Hope to hear similar discussions in the future, including people's experiences navigating challenges, identifying resources, and more. Much gratitude, all the best.

Thank you for sharing we need this. A lot of have dropped that Roman cross and are walking our way out of these Mitzrayim we’re in. We’ve read Zechariah 8:23 and are headed that way. Fascinating that Hashem split the ocean floor to “add” water to a sinful and split the sea to free His people. I look forward to that mikvah. May we see His face in peace.

What a joy to hear Hillel’s story…If I am not mistaken, he (and Ayelet, I believe) attended the 1st World Noahide Conference in Ft Lauderdale, Fl, which I attended as well.

If that was the first Noahide Nations conference that was the one where I asked Rabbi Richman and Rebbetzin Richman about looking for a wife.

Thanks to all for sharing this and the other stories here of those who have found their way home. Please say a prayer for me that by the mercies of Hashem and with the help of others, I may also find the wisdom, courage, persistence, and fortitude to do likewise. Chag sameach.

Now why would El Shaddai command two loaves of bread on Shavuot have added yeast to it. Hmmm, lets see, because when Adam is 50 the second time, He will rise!!! Oh I dont know, just maybe!!!

Oh one more thing, El Shaddai, YaHaVaH has brought back the entire house of Israel (Ezekeil Ch:37) Moses, David, Abraham, Sarah, Joseph, Judah, Ruben, Billah, etc..... etc.... etc... and we are all in Gentile bodies. I am my spirit, I am not my flesh, God can do as he pleases and nobody can say otherwise. Now why would He do that?? ahhhh, because the house of Israel was supposed to teach the nations who Almighty God is and His laws but they didn't; They kept it for themselves. (We are GOd's chosen people, you people aren't). No No No, bad bad bad!!!!

You are talking past tense. That is the problem in Christianity. I see and hear many Jewish people teaching it, the problem is, that gentiles do not accept their light, neither do they approach them for knowledge. So, that is the problem!

Stop making your own laws. We have only one promise and law for all. Abraham is a father to all.

Explain their own laws?? You sound like a repeating record that you hear from Paul and the preachers on the podium.
