East Gippsland gold adventure yeh it’s not quite as yella as mainland gold I think it has a bit of silver from what I’ve heard but it’s still pretty 👍🏼

Like your Gold Monster detector. I had an old prospector show me how you bring along a test nugget to test your detector when out and about. Put a small piece of gold between 2 pieces of velcro. Then throw it on the ground and check it with your detector. I always carried my test nugget in my bill fold. Just another trick we use in Montana USA.. I use an older Tesoro Lobo and it really is sensitive.

Such a great find. You really got some good gold. I like your huge suffer soda bottle. Is that 3/8” brass tubing? I like taking a MAP torch and heating up my screw driver to bend a hook in it. Then I sharpen it to a point. It pries rocks out with ease. Try it. Keep up the good work. Beautiful place!

Im into quad copters too even before they became the thing, what did you do the footage with in the air ? I have a spark at moment and a phantom 3 pro before that. @@officialtassieboysprospecting you don't need a gold monster mate your the gold monster. I call gold machines in Tasmania pellet detectors. I use The Equinox just to find gold rings on the beach while i'm waiting for warmer weather not nuggets but it would be nice to hit the big one guess hey.

Tazzzie Adventures yeh don’t hear of many people getting much with detectors in Tassie over than the apple isle prospector seems to get a bit tho. Yeh we I think deep down we all want that big one but for me I think it’s the adventure of finding new areas that hold good gold even if it’s 1 in 50 try’s before I might find that.

Ever think of using a sawed off rock rake or a hand cultivator to rake aside all the larger gravel? So you dont have to wear your hands as much and speed up the process. Of getting to the bottom.
