@@flounder I think it's because they are still the same version, for the new consoles they may have to separate those versions. The new gen consoles still use the cs xb1 edition and they have to make a cs xb series s/x edition which is a bigger problem to solve than you think

Really need to increase the number of tiles that can be unlocked, or maybe increase their size. With all these new districts we keep getting, I need more room to expand.

@@willlongley1657 Yup. I'm aware of 81 tiles, but I prefer to play games without mods until I've completed them in their entirety, which I've nearly done with CS, then I go full mods. However, in this case, I think that the base game needs to be expanded to keep up with the expansion from the DLCs regardless of the mods. I think all players would benefit from the expanded space regardless of the platform they play on, their experience level, or what mods they are using.

I understand the whole old-gen not being able to handle it... but atleast us New-gens on Xbox Series and PS5 could atleast get 25 Tiles options...

I'm beyond excited for this DLC and update! The banks are such a nice addition, but the financial specialization is truly the best. The ability to change the mesh of the map is something I've wanted for so long. I cannot wait.

@@Initiual You are right, they have given a lot of buildings, however i hope they create a DLC that adds more types of zones (bank zones, school zone, etc.) because that would be very cool!

I wish for the console players they'd give us better interchanger options and legit parking lots... I can't wait for this DLC

For parking lots check out imperator or Ricky King for how to achieve this in vanilla builds using the green cities DLC... I find it quite funny that the base game doesn't include car parks considering how many there are in cities

@The Mighty Orange As far as I know, they just have a PlayStation version, so I assume it's the same game for PS4 or PS5. If that is the case, then they would have to limit it to work on the PS4.

Would not have expected new LUTs, that's cool! What a great batch of stuff over the last couple months, plus some new hooks for modders and asset creators. I'm impressed, honestly! However, I do have a point of contention: The vanilla game is starting to look better and better - the skyscrapers, these new financial buildings, more detailed maps, MrMaison's trees, new service and transport vehicles - everything has a more, dare I say, realistic look to it. Except there's one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb to me: the vehicle wobble. When I saw the new money van accelerate and turn at 0:40 I almost got whiplash. I realise the game had a more whimsical vibe starting out all these years ago, but I think we have now reached a point where the wobble is becoming very unecessary, for the newer vehicles especially. Its clashes with how good the vehicles look and should be reduced a lot across all vanilla vehicles in my opinion.

@@timgeurts That's a good point and a reason not to remove it completely. I still think the way the money van moves is too much for how the game currently looks. There are other vehicles with the same settings that could use an overhaul in my opinion. There can be a middle ground.

Can’t wait!! All we need now is a update to show the capacity on the other transit vehicles

Now with the recent economy, To get Financial FREEDOM you have to be making money while you're asleep.

I have to ask why the building design and map themes are not brought up closer to this day but still retain the looks of 2015. People are doing great things to make realistic textures, themes on the Workshop. Why can't these come with original game? Also, building designs tend to look childish. Thank you for color corrections at least.

fun fact: the largest bank tower is based off 270 park avenue JP Morgan HQ in new york city which also was demolished a couple years ago to make a new one(which looks a lot more modern and nice tbh)

I'm definitely excited about this one. Every functioning neighborhood needs a bank so it's good to see that I don't have to rely on the whims of commercial zoning to include banks in my cities now

Is this choice of building variations available for each building? If not, please do so for every building in the game.

Why do you unlock the stock exchange before a bank?

Finally the pedestrians look more diverse but is the color filter on console also

Would be good if we could set maximum building width for district zoning. Building rows of 2x1 and 2x2 in grids takes forever atm with making them

So hyped for this new expansion...It looks to be a real game changer.

I wish we could actually genuinely control the kind of economic system our city has. Wether it is laissez-faire, social market or centrally planned, esch giving different bonuses and downsides.

Finally new beautiful color corrections in vanilla. The original colors are terrible.

I played Cities Skylines since it came out on Consoles. So yeah, with all these DLC's/Expansions they are adding. I hope the give us more tiles.

WOW WOW WOW! CO have certainly upped their game with the 2 most recent expansions. They are on a whole different level and bring so much more depth, variety and a range of new options not to mention the vast number of new buildings. There is still plenty of life in Cities Skylines and it looks like any chance of a CS2 has receded further into the distance. Fans now have so much invested in the game regarding the range of DLC packs and the workshop community and the tens of thousands of assets that any replacement has a lot to deliver before fans will make the switch. I'm certainly looking forward to this expansion and the new maps look challenging too.

I'm happier about the cats than anything else, although the other stuff looks good too.

MAPS! *pushes everyone out of the way*

You need to make a video on how to make 6 figures monthly because I have read about investors making up to $650,000 within 5 months and I really want to know how to outperform the market and make a significant profit

I find it absolutely astounding that they continue to bring new stuff to this game!! Literally have no desire for a sequel as long as they keep these dlcs coming. Just need them to allow us to unlock all map tiles on consoles!!!

Now I hope there will be different tiers of robbery. Gonna be much more fun if police chasing scene can be added but that will be a big update ahahah. Me playing too much GTA lol

My favorite part is probably the option to change some of the visual styles of things..almost feel like that should've been added a while ago now that it's been brought up, but at least it's there now

Banks allegedly lower crime in commercial areas. But realistically, wouldn't they concentrate crime by pooling cash into one building? How many banks would be robbed in your city?

There are no color corrections on console because in the menu there is no "graphics" section, and you said everything we see here would be on console as well. Why are we treated differently from pc?

Im so tired of CS. Console players have to pay the same, or even more, and we get nothing. Not even minor changes hugely asked for the community. Not sure what are they thinking, but i wont spend a single cent on this any longer.

@ exactly, I just don't understand why would they clearly say on their official channel that EVERYTHING we see will also be available on consoles, when it is not true. All we got is three dogs and cats which no body care about😂 plus we are limited to 9 tiles on each map, when they could AT LEAST add 3 more tiles. Ridiculous

I've got no space for this man... I've got Parks DLC and so on. If only I had a few more extra tiles 😒😔

I really really want CS2 but this will bid me over. Think we could redo the Trains and Ships with a DLC? It would fit in with industries and investment DLC

I don't care about much at all in the DLC (except for the maps; man those maps look great), but the stuff in the free update are super exciting.

Will the free update fix the invisible buses that was introduced in the last update for those of us using left hand traffic? I'd love to know why the idea for colour filters and new cats and dogs got prioritised, seems to me there are a tonne of ideas which would have been nicer, i.e. more scenic assets or rerending standard vanilla buildings but thanks all the same.

Yeah, I feel like new civilian vehicles would be more noticed and appreciated, considering if you are on console you are stuck with only 12 cars if you count all of the DLC, and most of those cars are from the games launch which means they are just horrible blobs that really take away from the realism of a city.

Most of the major mods are now maintained by creators who get the updates ahead of time to update the mods before launch. If your mods are breaking, there's probably a newer version that works just as well and gets updated ahead of time.
