Life insurances certainly seem to play a huge amounts of deaths in spouses. Keep clear of them is my advice.
He children's declaration at the end has shocked me deeply. If my father had killed my mother.....there is no saying what I would do to such an evil monster !!!!

Of the bat it's natural that this is what one would think, yet between parents and children remains a special bond. With it there's also the hope that it's possible for the wayward one to - in future - change, repent and turn their life around. In spite of who he was, their mother was also hoping their children could remain in relationship with their father, which is why she was staying closeby.

Maybe the children don’t feel strongly about what is right and wrong, sociopathic like their father. Must be glorious for the father to know that his kids love him ‘unconditionally’ despite him killing their mother in such a horrific way. She must have been terrified.
The secretary has the cheek of Ned Kelly. What person with any self-respect would move in with a married man with his wife and children living on the same premises. They both deserve one another.

This episode really highlights the tragic impact of greed and betrayal within a family. It's heartbreaking to see how the children are the ones who suffer the most in these situations. True crime often reveals the worst of human nature
Still loving their father is bizarre . Maybe inherited some of dad's traits? I don't know, but I find the whole situation incredibly debauched.

Some kids are ungrateful. She gave so much to them and stayed with the monster for their sake, yet they still love her killer. At this point, l think Mother's should start putting their life first.

Their father is all they have left now that their mother is dead. It is much similar to keeping on loving one's child(ren) - in spite of what they had done in the past. There also always is hope that someone can change.

The unraveling of the Blanda family is a profound example of how deeply personal issues can escalate into tragedy. The investigative detail in this episode was top-notch, really pulling you into the emotional and legal chaos
What is wrong with this man he wanted to cheat, go ahead and cheat all you can! But leave the poor wife alone!
Her kids comments at the end had my jaw dropped. Their poor mother 😢 May she Rip

That's why mother's should learn to also live for themselves and not always put their kids first and stay in dead end relationship becos of them. Life will go on for these kids, whether their mother is there or not.
Why is it even possible for someone to take out life insurance on someone else? You wouldn't be able to do this where I live.

I wonder if his secretary/lover visits him in prison? With whom he was so in love that he destroyed his family. Yeah, I am. sure, she doesn't! 🤮
What about your mom? Smh the kids don’t care about her that she died. Their dad is a monster
The children defending the father makes me sad for the poor lady.
Poor Janine and her children...
Always carry out a thorough check on the man or woman you plan on getting married to. This guy was once divorced, knowing the history of his previous divorce would have been helpful.

It's fascinating yet horrifying to see how calculated some people can be, especially in a setting that initially seemed like a picture-perfect life. This episode serves as a powerful cautionary tale about the consequences of living a facade
So Nick was the fall guy. I feel for him being so vulnerable & easily manipulated by this greedy monster

I feel so sorry for her children. Lost both parents really . Sad thing is though, she was doing exactly what upset her about her husband, she was having an affair with another woman’s husband . Doesn’t mean she deserved being killed though. He was a real control freak. 🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
The sad music and withering flowers at the end of each episode never fail to bring a lump to my throat 😢

When you separate yourself from the dynamics and prejudice of the actual story I find it depressing to glimpse a broader picture of so many relationships, and so many innocent hearts, filled with optimism, destined for such wretchedness. I love the insightful commentary provided by Stacy and Brian, but wisdom is a poor anaesthetic in each recurring final event.
I'm confused here. He is a court reporter. He has a mansion, builds an extra house, has nice cars, employs a secretary, refurbishes.....Where I live, a court reporter would maybe be able to buy a 1-room flat after some years. I must be in the wrong profession....
