A bit of rain and a few days after, I can imagine the grass basking in its addition. Great quality equipment and products do make all the difference. Appreciate the link, the upload & the advice. I prefer sand because, among other things, it keeps the moss away. The compost has a PH value (6,5 and 7,2) wich supports moss growing, fertilizer with iron also keeps the moss away and gives a strong green color.
Dan, when you did the first line with the cylinder I honestly thought you were painting it in, not cutting it. Amazing colour! Well done!

Hey Dan. I have a heavy clay lawn and haven't heard of this drainage in a bag stuff. Is it a one off, once a year or other application? Cheers
Would you be able to create a report on creating a lawn where bulbs are present? I ask because I have daffodils and hyacinths in my lawn. They look beautiful but, I don't cut the grass until the middle of June so the flowers can replenish the bulbs for the follow years display. The lawn is also undulating and would really benefit from some top soil to fill the dips and create something special after the floral display. Removing 40cm high grass in June leaves an unsightly mess for 3 weeks and would be a great chance to do something, if only I had some guidance. Over to you..
Would raking along your scarifying groves take more up and still leave groves for seeding rather than raking across and maybe leaving debris behind?
My passion for keeping lawn nice is gone. I just discovered a lot of annual poa and the only way I think of is dig up half of my garden and lay a turf, because I dont have the patience anymore for seeds to grow nor laying fleece. :(
Thank you for the inspirational lawn fixing! Im gonna do this aswell! If there are weeds like dandelions in the grass, would you try to spray kill it first before doing your steps or is it oke to leave it and just do these steps ? Thanks again!

Hi Dan, will that drainage in abag work on any soil type or just clay? How wet is too wet for cylinder mowig? I have just talen over a croquet lawn that has a very wet area down one side but it needs cutting as they want to start playing soon. If its too wet to cut with the cylinder am i better iff cutting with a rotary than leaving it? I only get to go to this place once a week and there us no one else available to cut the lawn as the gentleman who owned it sadly died recently. It has not had anything done to it since they had a company in to scarify and over seed last autumn. It did have a problem with birds i few months back so it was sprayed for leather jacket and Schaefer grubs which seems to have helped quite a lot. I have filled in a lot of the ares that the turn had been pecked up with top dressing and they are starting to grow back. I was thinking of spraying with some iron and maybe a light rake with the wire cartridge in the scarifier. Your lawns look fantastic and i love the videos and dreaming of getting a lawn close to these standards. Thanks for the help you give us guys watching.
Can we get a guide on the tools/lawnmowers etc attachments you use please?
You done it mate. Congratulations on hitting 40k 🎉. Here’s to 50k!! Quick question regarding Drainage in a bag. Would one application suffice at this time of year? My rear lawn is still a little water logged, but only in places.

@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert I understand but would I achieve similar results with a fine multi purpose compost which I dump through a sieve or would I be better using top soil? Poor accessibility puts me off online deliveries would go for yours otherwise.
What do you do at 19:22 ? I don’t follow.
Where do we buy this drainage in a bag?
