Thanks! I was really sick for awhile and Mickey had to go away for too long but he’s back now and I couldn’t be happier. He loves going outside and can have a whole conversation of hellos!

I am new to your site. I notice that pretty much all of the Cockatoos in these videos do not fly. Are their wings clipped? One or two stated that their birds have injuries that prevent flying. I am just amazed all the Cockatoos just run around outside and don’t take off.

His wings are slightly clipped because he flew across the room and bit a visitor in the face. He does only normally fly short distances. He was only outside for a very short time because the wind picked up and even clipped he could have taken off on a wind gust. We do take him out walking and he wears a harness when we do that
