At last! A modular home that's exactly in my wheelhouse. I'm a HUGE fan of the 1960's and, in fact, my home is a 1960's house with butterfly roof over the double carports and mid-century modern furniture. Thank you so much for this video. I love it! Great work, as always.

Kerry, I LOVE knowing about the variety of options available world wide!! I’d put a big tent next to it with turf grass making it a living room, then build a shed with 3 glass walls and make it an extra bedroom 🤷‍♂️

Interesting indeed. Appealing facade. It would be nice to see more pictures rather than just floor plans. I was unable to discern where the washer/drier are placed. Germany is quite a distance away hence, the freight charges would be astronomical. Once again, thank you for all of your efforts in keeping your followers up to date with prefab housing possibilities. Great job!

Love the houses. I would also go with the smaller versions. Love the exterior design... disappointed that it's built and sold in Europe. It's strange, but my style has always been old Spanish, or Mexican ranch. I've always said that if I could build what I wanted, it would look like it's a 100 years old, but with all of the modern convinces. I think I've come to a point in my life where just enough space to live in, and clean lines, and no clutter, are starting to really appeal to me. Having a lot of "stuff", has been starting to overwhelm me, and I'm ready to let go of it. Even have thought about "Van life", or RV... that's a whole other topic 😁 Thanks Kerry! ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎

Always useful info, even if sometimes the designs aren't currently available in the US. Like you say, Kerry, things change. This design is attractive. I particularly like the overhang and integrated deck. I personally would prefer a heating alternative to the wood burning stove. It may be simplistic and/or ignorant, but all I can think of is a tree dying just to keep me warm. Thanks for another worthwhile presentation.

Years ago my German friends took me to a "fabricated homes" (not "pre-fab", in their nomenclature) models village. Numerous styles and sizes were on site for "open door" viewing. I remember mostly that they were not for low budgets, but on the other hand their engineering, design, workmanship, materials, fit-and-finish were "typisch" German super high quality. Hopefully they still do things that way over there, and it'd be nice if we got more of that over here in U.S.

Love the designs they have overseas! There’s a company called Sommarnojen out of Sweden (no affiliation just like their homes :) that design with those sleeping rooms, seems they’re fairly common there. I especially love how European designs have a few BIG windows instead of multiple little ones (which in a small space looks cluttered) Also how they keep the kitchens & baths small but layed out in a way that functions better. When are they going to start doing this over here I wonder? Seems like there’d be lots of interest. Thanks for your videos! 😊

Thanks for your video. The exterior design looks stunning and I love the fact that the houses make the most of the view. However the interior seems weird. I love open spaces but these houses offer lots of waste square meters inside the bedrooms (too much space except for the "bed room" in the 2nd model, inexplicable corners...) and in the useless corridors. My favs, the first three. As they get bigger, their design inconveniences become more evident too.

Kerry, you mispronounced the word "pronunciation". LOL! No, you really did. I love your channel. I'm a big fan. Keep up the good work. Your doing a great service.

The look is lovely. But in some of the layouts, there's far too much space wasted on briefly-used corridors instead of actual lots-of-time-used living space. If the roof were designed to be strong enough, there could be a beautiful rooftop garden there. It could have solar panels, produce fruit and vegetables, have a leafy recreational area and sunshine, nice views (if necessary fenced for privacy). All at zero cost for extra land.

Kerry your videos are very helpful! As part of my research I've been unsuccessfully looking for Canadian home shows / exhibitions that include prefabs. Are you able to share info regarding these events and do you speak at any of them? Thanks very much for all the detailed information!

I'm about a year away with a budget of about 200k US. We want 700 to 800sf. Considering our timing, and our location being north of Seattle, AND availability (we DON'T want to be on a 3 year waiting list), what manufacturer do you think would be a great fit for us?

Kerry ...would this work well in Canadian climate? These homes are beautiful but show me a home after 5 years in a 4 season climate like Chicago or Montreal. Would appreciate your perspective on this?

Very nice! Sleep in the tiny room, use the bedroom as an office/ library.

Looks very similar to Method's M's series of homes. Since it's German I would guess it also has Methods $1M+ total cost of construction for a >1700sq ft home.

7 years is a good rule of thumb 👍 i.e doc storage
