Wish we had shops like that in CT. I saw a worst version of 1st Batgirl near me. Guy wanted 2,600 not graded..... I was Like I can get a 7.5 for $1,500.

Congratulations on an excellent book! I recently acquired a stack of comics and, lo and behold, it also had a ASM #9 in it. Only mine is suffering from "Marvel chipping." I sent it off to CGC more to get it slabbed to prevent further damage. If I get a 3.0 I would be ecstatic. But, like you said, I will keep hunting!

Im alittle late in responding but I have to say im honestly really happy for you .. 98% of fellow content creators come across as in this hobby for the wrong reasons.. It was stupid cold down here in Florida this weekend.. but I was able to score my second GIJoe #21 but this time Direct Edition to go along with my mid grade newsstand and Finally a Spider-Man 2099 1 which lol ive been meaning to get since the 90's ..i was able to score a newsstand of that. Congrats on your scores.. well deserved :)

Although my relapse was winning a small auction lot of early '80s ASM books about 30 minutes ago, not a high-grade ASM 9. I am happy you secured that ASM 9 before I got to it, since that's a level of debt I prefer not to have at this moment.

I’d like to know just ballpark what kind of a deal you got on them. Those books are crazy priced right now especially any early Asm stuff.

I could not zero in on the prices and of coarse my curiosity is up as to what you paid for or at least what the retail sticker was for the Green Lantern. I have three that I was thinking about sending to get slabbed. I paid around $40 - $80 years ago, just the thought of waiting a year to get them back is a turnoff LOL, but I need to know what a shop is selling them for. Congrats on the score!!!

The price on that Batman 189 feels rather high considering it’s not graded but I didn’t see the grade. Looks like a mid grade copy.

Man im just getting into comics maybe 2 years ago but i always shu away from the big two because the history is so deep but now i find my self wanting to make money on them too and dont know the history enough to know the keys to search for any help?
