They should make him weak until you finish all your gum chewing moves.

Some things to note if you play this again -Some characters have alt forms that can be accessed by holding start and pressing A, B, C, X, Y, or Z, in some cases these are just outfits, like Alucard or Richter, but others like Simon or Maria have actual alts with their own movesets. This is also how you access the other 6 palettes for characters that don't have an alt. -Some characters have movement abilities others don't, like some characters can fly (like Shanoa or Duke Nukem) and some characters can't slide and/or divekick (like RoB Maria). -Characters as well as Bosses have different weaknesses and resistances, like for instance, Alucard has some Dark resistance, but some Holy weakness, while alot of the Belmonts have Holy resistance iirc. -Catching the boss orb in the air with an attack or a divekick or "special action" (not sure exactly what that means) increases 1 or 2 of either HP, MP, STR, or DEF, how well you do it and if you beat the fight without damage determines how much of an increase it gives and to which stats it gives. -Don't forget about the shop, it's contents are randomized each round and can include stat boosts, HP, MP, and Cure Potions, as well as rarely the Invincibility Jar. -Some characters have Item Crashes, instead of just one super move.

There are no official ways to know what move does what, you need to go to the training mode and press some random inputs. Here are some inputs and button properties to keep in mind, at least from my experience: Button Properties A/C : Attack. Depending on the character, A and C does different attacks. Can use subweapons if ⬆️ + A/C is pressed B : Jump X : Backdash/Dodge. Can change direction depending where the character is facing. Can superjump if ⬆️ + X is pressed Y : Special Button. Depending on the character, this does something unique. Z : Switch subweapon to the right. Can switch to the left if ⬆️ + Z is pressed Start: Mini menu for item use Inputs: While the character is facing right ➡️➡️ + A/C ⬇️↘️➡️ + A/C ⬆️⬇️↘️➡️ + A/C ⬅️↙️⬇️↘️➡️ + A/C ⬇️↘️➡️↗️⬆️ + A/C: Universal input for Item Crash. Depending on the character and subweapon, Item crashes can change Keep in mind, while the inputs are universal, the moves will differ. For example, Montano Cyprus can use uppercut by pressing C, while Leon Belmont needs to use ⬇️↘️➡️ + A just to do an uppercut. Additionaly do not forget the direction your character is currently facing, since it can alter the directional inputs for the moveset. Victor is indeed from LoS2 and quite faithfully made here.

New sentence unlocked: 'I think Grimace is hitting him with the Infinite Tsukuyomi'.

They finally put Somacula in as a secret boss after Dracula. You need to score a few perfect victories in a playthrough to fight him (he can also randomly show up in Survival mode). They also added new attacks to several old bosses, like Dario. The SoTN Succubus is oddly tough to defeat too, compared to the source game. It's just really good to see this game getting updates again after all those years.

It is, but it also hadn't had updates again until fairly recently, so there's probably alot of people just finding out about it, Ik I personally hadn't seen it until like a year or so ago.

Oh yes, the best castlevania game ever, the co-op its just so good to play with a friend.

Serio needs to be hired by konami (assuming they ever make a metroid-vania again). the boss fights in this seem so much more dynamic and intense than most Castlevania bosses
