What an appropriate song for me to be listening to right now. Exactly 17 years ago at this very instant my dad slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God.

Jan McBride here: I found this song after my Mom went to be with Jesus on June 8, 2015. I wish I had heard it before she died, but I chose it for her Celebration of Life Service. We asked the pastor to play it and I will continue to listen to it when I think of Mom. Rest in the arms of Jesus Mom! I love you!!

This is very beautiful song. Before I lost my dad last year in November 2019, throughout that year my dad has been listening to this song, but we never knew that me and my family will lose my dad that year. Until when we lost him, I finally reflect back to this song that my dad has been listening to all the time. Only if I knew that the time is coming soon, I would spend all the time I can with him...

Beautiful song by my dear cousin Peter Whitebird. Love it. Mom instructed my sister Cathy to sing this at her funeral. My sister summoned me in church to sing this beautiful song with her. We did good. We didn't cry. We sang just as our mother taught us to sing plus be strong women. Ya..

My 90.5 year old Dad went Home on November 30, 2021. 8 years to the day my mom went Home 8 years ago. They were married nearly 62 years when she passed on. He missed her every single day. They are together Home now.
