I have an SA-AK610 that I’ve had since 2004. Lately, both tape decks won’t stay playing. Both run for a few seconds and then stop. I’ll try cleaning the heads on both.

Fantastic Panasonic AK27! Rare to be found here in Brazil. If I found it, I would buy it to put in my room.

Wooooooooooooow, eu tenho ele e não sabia que era raro de encontrar no Brasil, o meu funciona tudo, mas teve infiltração de água nos tapes, aí estou restaurando e dando umas olhadas em vídeos como esse, só de ele poder tocar 5 CDs já é FODÁSTICO, sem contar o equalizador!

@@denyfixe1000 Onde moro só ví um dele, mas não tinha $$$ na hora pra comprar. Ai comprei o Panasonic AK15 que veio 1 ano antes dele.

Yea well no speakers currently available at that time would be the reason behind no sound.

I’ve always wondered how that tray loading cd changer worked. I have a really nice technics stack system with a 5 dvd changer like this!

Replacing those belts seems very fun and by very fun I mean a brain pain

I purchased this exact model at Best Buy In Ohio back in 1999. Worked for a couple years and the CD Drive changer did not work after a tiny white plastic thing fell out and its been on the fritz eversince in my house here in India. I've never looked inside, took it to the local service dealer and the bozo said parts aren't available. DANG!

I had those white cd clamps fall out on another unit. Its easy to put them back in.

Hey mine is stuck in cd mode and the cds sound Jamed and won’t even open. I just want it in aux mode how do I switch it to aux mode

i got a similar panasonic, the decks will NOT play unless i press on one of the spindles, when i do that, then the tape starts playing but the other spindles doesnt move so it just eats the tape. FF and RW work, do you know the issue? thank you

I have same system...with no tape work (belt 100% broker) and error “no disc “ When i put disc into Stereo. I open case and i see disc dont turn (dont start ) 🤔

you changed capstan belts. what about the other two smaller ones than run forward and reverse?
