I am so very sad right now. Mr.Bucky passed in 2019; and Phyllis passed a few days ago . I don't know why; I did not personally know either one of them but felt a connection to them. I have been re-watching her videos and have to stop myself from asking her questions. RIP to the both of them. Hugs and Smiles from Alberta, Canada.

I still am grieving and Miss Phyllis' eldest son Steven, Retired Airforce Military, father of 4, and new grandpa, has been so kind to post videos telling us about his life with the family, sharing memories etc. Please check his videos, he is grieving as well and I am sure this channel is healing for all of us who loved Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky.

Dear Ms. Phyllis, I found you last week and was instantly hooked watching your video. You were such a beautiful soul, & something about your calm sweet voice as you talked to us was so beautiful. I wish I had found you earlier, and would have loved to meet you & Mr Buckey. I never really had anyone to show me how to cook, but I just want to say thank you so much for coming to me on your channel. And thank you so much for telling us about your natural burial plans. I'm 63 & think a lot like you dear, and am going to check into it so my son will not have that burdon upon him. I have some family left but I very rarely hear from any of them. I took care of my mother until last year best I could. But was in a bad wreck, that almost killed me. I can't run for her like I always did & didn't have anyone but my son & best friend to help me get an attorney within the 3 yr. period to sue the man who basically ruined my life by running a red light. If anyone sees this, and is an attorney or knows law please email be me & let me know if there's any way I could get an extension on that 3 yr. period to sue him for damages. He wasn't even hurt, but didn't even check on me. I heard you say Ms.Phillis that you didn't want to be in a nursing home, I was taken to one to get therapy & it was awful. They let me break 2 ribs trying to shower myself, then sent me home on my 30th day. Thank you for keepings. philly's videos on here for her favorite charity, & for allowing so many of us the pleasure of knowing such a beautiful soul, through her videos. I sure hope we meet again in Heaven. To her son's, please accept my condolences. She seemed to be like an Angel on Earth. RIP with Mr. Buckey ✝️♥️

Being Alaskan Native American, the family makes the coffin and lines it with beautiful silk. Some sites build a mini house over the grave with a picket fence, some plant flowers, great when you place seasonal flowers that bloom 3 seasons. It’s so personal and sweet. But I’m really cheap so I paid for my cremation site right next to my baby brother. So I’m happy knowing grizzlies will bring their cubs by yearly to play around us. That’s heaven to me. I love you plans, so peaceful and pure. So nice to hear other options. Thanks for sharing.

@Love, I'm in Florence, MS. It is outrageous to pay that amount of money for a conventional funeral. I have a plot next to my first husband. Twenty three years ago, his funeral was $10K. My second husband passed a year ago on May 11th. He wanted cremation and I'm leaning that way too. I don't like either option, but what are we to do? LOL. I definitely don't like the 'viewing' aspect of it.

My stepdad said he wanted to be buried in a plain pine box. After he died, we all got together and planned his funeral. The plain pine box option, as it turned out, was more expensive than a tacky laquered casket. My family wavered and the plan was to go with the tacky laquered thing. I just couldn't accept that. Then, the man from the funeral home walked in and he happened to be one of my closest highschool friends. He worked it out so we could get the simple, pine box as my dad was wanting at the lower price. It was a nice surprise.

Just found you today and so glad I did. I've watched 2 video's and already learned so much. I stopped this one half way through and looked up all natural burials. Found 2 locations in my area. Will investigate more and talk to my husband. Also learned how to stay cool with a headband and ice. Thanks for the info.

Your comment made me chuckle. I was telling my youngest son that when I die, don't let them preserve me or put makeup on my face. I don't wear it, have never bothered, and it's waaaay too late to start if I'm dead. I told him, "All I want is for you to brush my hair a little and that's it." Well, a few days later, we were in a hurry to go somewhere and in my hurry, I hadn't even thought to brush my hair. My son was sitting in the seat next to me kind of chuckling and grumbling to himself so I asked him what he was mumbling about. He said, "Mom! You said that when you die, I HAVE TO brush your hair." He said, "Why? when you don't even brush it now and you're alive!" I glanced in the rear view mirror and my hair was all kinds of crazy. We both burst out laughing so hard. It was so timely and so funny to us. He said, "I'm not brushing your hair." I said, "You WILL or I'll haunt you the rest of your life!!" LOL We're still enjoying that morning.

I know you can't see this Phyllis but this is my first time watching this video. Simply put I love your way of thinking. Simple. Family. Return to earth as from which we came. Gods children. Gods earth. Put back by the ones who loved us from the day we met. No frills or fuss. My mother unexpectedly passed 5 months ago; my little brother a few years back. Lots of money involved, held at our church, attended was family and friends (lots of people). It was beautiful *But* as beautiful as it was I find simplicity and family even more beautiful. Thank you for sharing your life with us. 💗

Love this idea. When my doctor told me I was terminal indeed it took my breath away, then I started laughing, my doctor was shocked so I told her well we are all terminal, none of us are getting out of this alive. They said 3-5 years, so that was 6.5 years ago. Told my doc I don't fear death, I have visited heaven 4 times and oh my I never want to leave but I wasn't allowed to stay. Like I said I do not fear death, I fear a long life of suffering. So I made my plans because I don't want my children to have to handle the decision and costs when my day comes, I want my children to be able to comfort each other. Just as my life plan, in case things get rough I have set all my plans for my care, again I want my children to be able to visit as my child not the decision maker. I learned this when my baby brother died I was the decision maker and the weight of dealing with everything and everyone. I had limited time to heal me. So I handled everything and went home I didn't attend the funeral I worked so hard to setup. I couldn't handle that final goodbye I was at his side when he passed, that was my final goodbye. So I love options to the money laden process. To me it's about my kids being able to heal each other.

Hi Phyllis, Love this... My husband and I do not want to be cremated either... I do not want to be embalmed. I have checked into the pine, they're actually called pine boxes, they come in either plain or ornamental. I showed my husband which one I wanted. We need to sit down and document our wants to each other. We already have grounds, one above the other, depending on who passes first. This is just another facet of being organized, in my opinion. It will make it so much easier for family members. Life management. Some people think it is morbid, but, it's like purchasing and planning for life insurance. Another plan for our life and beyond. Thanks for the video...
