The first time I ran into the dark magus sisters, I was just going to farm creatures for monster arena and didn't even know of the dark aeons. I saw that kid and didn't recognize him and so I talked to him. I just about shit myself when I heard the evil music and the zombie sisters come after me :-O

I spent 3 hours gathering monsters for the monster arena before entering this area, unknowing about what lay in Mushroom Rock Road. I thought the summoners were nice, so I tried to talk to them after the brief cut-scene and my entire team was wiped. :

This happened to me with dark yojimbo. Some dude ran up on me and got the first turn and then triple wakizashi my whole team. Didn’t even get a chance to say no

Excalibur. It's the same look. Any BDL turns into that (not celestial of course). I have 3 of em, just made a magic booster/20% magic for these guys n died anyways lol. I need to make deathproof/autohaste/(ribbon??)/autopheonix etc.. I was using the same armor i used for Earth Eater farming luck..

The real bitch is wasting 100's of hours grinding for stats.

I thought dark anima's overdrive was bad with 16 hits dealing you about 80k of total damage (in the videos I've seen), but that delta attack was just overkill. All of those 99,999 damages at once..... Just wow....

I think I played this game over the course of a year. Good stuff👌👊🏆

I remember I used to watch this video like once a day for several months back in highschool 2012 until I finally played the game. Those were great times...

this took me about 30min to kill these off, dark Anima I thought was the toughest though, brilliant though, loved the end game content for this game, fighting much harder bosses than the actual final boss!

I just started the international version, I'm so stoked :o. But one question, do you already have the hp break limit off the bat or do you need a special item ( I think it was Dark Matter? not to sure.)

Favorite boss battle was D. Yojimbo. Also a great spot to farm Dark Matter

I can't believe I was actually able to defeat them all together. I must admit that it's mainly thanks to a high luck (which can be tedious to grind).

If you don't know this, or for those that don't know this, if you get all your Aeons Overdrives up, and then Grand Summon with Yuna's Overdrive, the Aeons can use their Overdrive twice, or if you have a special weapon for Yuna, she can use her Overdrive twice, or so.

It will take you around 200hours + for a fully game save. But yeah you can get everything to 255 and set HP(break HP limit) to 99,999.

I live in Portugal, i bought this game 10 years ago, in a games store!

actually when I defeated these, I only had 3 characters with maxed out sphere grids, but only had 2 characters with Break Damage Limit and 2 Characters with Break HP limit, this is why it took me so much longer, Had to keep casting Auto-Life on Double Spell, over an over but it worked!

If you need to know, I started training at 25 hours, arena farmed master tonberries (Try capture 1 from omega ruins). by 65 hours, I got all chars 255 stats except luck, base hp was like 17k, I'd say for all 7 chars to be 99k (which isn't ideal), it would've taken me 30 hours of farming atleast. That's me though, so I'm not sure how you would do it. Make sure you use the master cactuar exp method for instant 99 levels per battle.

As long as you level up your chars with at least a LUCK of 150, they are no problem even when all of the three sisters fight the party.. Recommended Tidus, Rikku and Wakka, Celestial Weapons are a MUST

It's also in the PAL version released in Europe which is the same as the international version. The extra content and the advanced sphere grid etc. is only missing from the original japanese and the u.s version.

Do you ever use wakka attack reel slots? 12 hits? each 100k?

I never got the Tonberry thing. I just set my team to Comrade and go after the Cactaur King. Haste him, slow me, then steal every round. More AP than you can handle, and him running doesn't cancel the weapon driven AP gains.

First off there are many places in the game to level if you don't know or haven't done it yourself. Omega Ruins and Calm Lands Monster Arena they give you plenty of money, AP and the Arena gives you the stat nods such has HP, Agility, Accuracy, etc. And there is a gamefaqs Max Stats page where it explains the North American 9999 HP max leveling and International 99,999 HP way.

You can try buying one online from an Amazon Japan or around Japan..I bought mine from a store I live back here in Canada that sell Japan games. :)

The PAL version IS the Internatonal version. But I've noticed too that some menu sound effects sound a bit different than in the American International version. The gameplay's also a little slower in the PAL version, though I've read that it's because of the poor PAL conversion. :D

This game is fucking awesome, my local gamestore got this and X-2 the other day, gonna go buy em'.

I found all of Jecht;s spheres yet I am yet to get "Tornado". there are only 10 am I correct?

Took me about up until 90-120 to get my stats: everything 255 except luck, that was at least over 140, health was 38000 or a little higher or lower, It was tedious, but I got it!

Battle system is really good for this game

Back when I play FF9 when I was a little kid, I thought it was the hardest game in the world. I replayed it again just a few days ago and I never realized how EASY games like these are. Now that I know how they work, since I have become pretty much a veteran at any RPG out there, I realized all you had to do was collect everything you come by and focus on increasing stats that are most important for your character's roles. Before I thought it was hard, now I'm thinking it was way too easy lol.

Actually these games are not hard. Just demanding. Grinding, knowledge about mechanics and stats. But I really think FFX did it perfectly.

I'm patient, but not patient enough to max HP. Lol. Still working on Fortune Spheres. Haha

And leveling up is a good idea.

Yes, go read gamefaqs: North America/International 9999/99,999 max stats. All you do is get rid of the +1, 2 & 3 sphere stats and change them to +4. get rid of 200 HP to change to 300's. You do not get everything 255. 255 Luck = to 255 Agility & Accuracy. Getting rid of all Agi/Acc in the Sphere Grid to some Luck until 255 and all HP can get you to 99,999. :)

A loot player are master in final fantasy games 🤗 but he lie there are 3 ways the first is the hard way with all three only summon 1 esper like him or the easy way summon Yojimbo and kill all 3 with 1 hit and the other way to split them 🥳👍

im lost my guys are no where near this and they dont chase me at all they just battle me from the get go what did i miss?

My Yojimbo just assassinated the lot of them. I remember when I hired him I had barely any Gil. But I offered him the lot and he accepted. Then I paid him just 1 Gil when ever he I summoned him and he kill the enemy. No one else seemed to experience this. Basically cheated my way through the whole game.
