Here’s an arrangement of the song 1000 Words from the game Final Fantasy X-2 (FF X-2). This one has taken me far longer than I thought it would, but it's also been far move involved than the "simple" pop songs I've done recently with how jazz based the chords are in this one (lots of 7ths among other things!).
This arrangement/cover is different from others you may find online simply because of two things: 1) it's based on the English version sung by Sweetbox (almost all I've found are based on the original Japanese one by Koda Kumi), and 2) this is based on the full length version of the song (almost all I found were based on the length in the cutscene). So there's going to be an extra verse and refrain (among other parts) that you may not have heard before if only listened to the game length version!
Being that it's based on the English version, I've tried to include Lenne's part in the final refrain. It was...interesting trying to work in that duet of Lenne and Yuna (there's an extra synth part at the end to try to highlight it)!
