To answer your question, yes all of those locations are in the original game. The world and its locations are remarkably faithful to the original, albeit expanded in size and detail.

@@whodatninja439 They've already said it will be in part 3. The first time you do snowboarding in the original game is when you get to the snowy region near the Northern crater, so they obviously don't want to spoil that part ahead of time.

Ah sigh... Brings back memories. FFVII was the 2 or 3rd video game I ever bought. It was so emotionally charged. I see Kitase hasn't lost his touch. Yes all that stuff was in the original but it wasn't as big or detailed.

This game looks absolutely insane. I'm not completely on board with the story changes, but I don't hate it either (yet) Definitely a frontrunner for GOTY along with Black Myth Wukong and Dragon's Dogma 2. PS5 basically bullied Xbox out of the console market. 😅 It's both sad and funny.

From the sounds of it it seems Xbox is moving slowly away from concoles. Tbh their exclusives have just me massive missies and even the studios they have gotten recently have had very mismanaged IPs. Hope they turn things around and keep the competition going to not make Sony make poor decisions

As someone who generally liked Remake all the way through until the trainwreck story-wise at the end, I can't help but be hyped for this game. So many locations and characters that (so far) are so faithfully recreated. Nostalgia is at a 10. And the MUSIC. One of the standouts of Remake looks to be continued in this game

These locations were in the original, just not as big as they are now.

I am very glad for fans of VII. I'm more of a IX guy. And VI. And Tactics. But I mean it. I can't think of many games I'd lose my mind about getting a remake like this. I'm glad the fans get to have fun.

Luke you need to play the OG it is low key one of the best games of all time.

See this is what I’m talking about. When I look at open world games, I always pause the video and look in the distance for anything that looks interesting. After all, that’s what we all do IN GAME. When I watched StarFields trailer, there was nothing interesting. Just flat bare empty rock or at most some trees. In this trailer, there is so many things. All the mini games look amazing. Story sounds great. Combat was already fantastic and just got upgraded. I’m so hyped for this!

Yes, its fine. If you want, the Twin Package on PSN gives you both Rebirth and Remake for the same price (70 dollars). Every Final Fantasy is standalone

Remake was my intro into FF so yeah. They’re moving away from the turn-based combat of the original games so this, 15, and 16. Are good intros into the series. I didn’t like 15 that much tho

Basically Final Fantasy 7 Remake + Starfield Exploration Solution But Better

Final fantasy 7, & 9 are 2 of the greatest games ever made. 9 was my favorite, but 7 was a blast. You should really go back & play the originals. Hell, even play 8. That was pretty good as well, but 7 & 9 are once in a lifetime games. Remake was good, but they took the game in a completely different direction than the original, in terms of game play.

Wonder why they never showed some of the ooooey goooey menus it’s a massive part of the movie sorry game

And thats when i saw ff7 in that thick, white case. 3 discs?? Holy shit. What IS this game? Why the big sword?? It was ff7 or gran tourismo 2. Well, the wal mart attendant, some 18 year old teenager with scruffy hair and pepporoni pizza for acni, was gushing about 7. This young man convinced me to get 7. So I got it. If not for him, I probably wouldnt be on this channel.

Play crisis core from the start and I think Zach is absolutely fantastic ❤

Final Fantasy is one of those series I just never understood the appeal of. Just like Harry Potter or FIFA.

I wish I cared about this, 7 is easily one of my favourite games but this really just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Love everything I am seeing except the Ubisoft research towers…i thought as a gaming community we were starting to move past the whole “interact with 30 towers to reveal the full map”

In part 3 you'll get access to airship and submarine. Rebirth had to do ubisoft towers because you can't roam around the world by flying yet.

The towers give info for a variety of different points of interest in the area and they also are a hub for Charley who gives you a ton of new materia and access to gameplay systems. The new materia we get at each tower is worth it tbh lol.

The towers does not reveal the map the purpose of towers is so that you can get point of interest location where you can get hunts, side missions or any other side contents related to chadley that will help you get stronger for some cases summons.

Looks awesome outside that freakin' vocal theme being plastered over it.

I mean the devs WOULD have known if you remade any FF, 7 would be the most toxic of the 13 ones because of Aerith dying and people shipping her with Cloud…when if you actually payed attention, Zack was her first love. It’s like shippers just live in another dimension than everyone else man… This is worst than Naruto and Bleach ships I tell ya what. MFs get married, have kids and still deny the facts 🤣 When that Masumune pierces her rib cage in 4K, those shippers better be quiet 😏

Stop looking for realism in fantasy games. From lord of the rings to Elden Ring, in every fantasy story the characters speak in an unrealistic manner. You just get used to it after 15-20 minutes (unless you go in already decided that you want to hate it)

weirdly enough, FF7's en dub is actually good. its almost like playing two different games, they have similar personalities from en and jp dub, but the execution/the way they present it, makes it seem like different people. id rather appreciate the effort and passion they put out, then bring them down, cuz that helps nobody

Beneath a Steel Sky on the Amiga came on 15 floppies, 2 discs is not a flex. Also I played the original (came out in my teenage years) and just can't get into these "remake/demake/mutated" versions. Impressive technical & creative feats, but entirely unnecessary to change the story/gameplay in my view.

Everything about this game looks amazing besides the main quest. Theres two types of JRPG stories, ones like persona 5 or yakuza 0. And the other is kingdom hearts 3 where its conveluted garbage, pure slop. This game looks like its probably gonna be kingdom hearts 3
