Makes sense, I knew as soon as this scene started that this was going to be the collapsed expressway of FF7 rebirth. I’m realizing this isn’t the zone music. It’s Aerith on an adventure music. In fact, when the team switches to Yuffie the music changes, and as soon as you go back to cloud and Aerith this song comes back.

I had to with this track and the Life Stream one (the side quests one), stood there for 10 mins with the Lifestream one.

The “Collapsed Expressway” of Rebirth. This song is so good. I sat there for a solid 10 minutes just staring at the scenery listening to this song.

This song is an amazing example of what we old gamers mean when we talk about video game music that sounds like video game music The composer captured the essence of what music on the PS1 was like to us back in the day while giving it a modern sound

Snap, I added this to my final fantasy running playlist over the weekend. So good to run to 😊 beats the 1 hour version of the jules techno battle music I put on a my power song.

I'm constantly amazed at the quality of this trilogy's soundtracks. Looking forward to the final part.

This track is an outstanding piece in a game full of outstanding music. What a gift. Just resonates on every level.

This music made this entire section that was already awesome into a core gaming memory for me

It’s sad that Nobuo Uematsu has pretty much all but retired because he WAS Final Fantasy for many great years! From what I’ve read in a couple of interviews with him his health isn’t the greatest and he wants to relax and enjoy the years he has left. That being said, I’m glad that Squeenix has other talented folks to turn to - Mitsuto Suzuki who composed this awesome track, the insanely talented Masayoshi Soken (I will never understand how he has been able to create so many new songs for the FF series and remix/rearrange so many old ones as well), and Yoko Shimomura, the talented lady who composed most of XV’s fantastic soundtrack. I believe that the music for the Final Fantasy series will be in good hands with those mentioned above and the other musicians who have contributed tracks to the franchise. But since Nobuo is only 64 he’s still got enough time, the Good Lord permitting, to not only enjoy his golden years but also contribute a new track or two for we fans every now and then!

FF7 was made in the 90s, this is an 80s thing.

When I was anticipating playing this game, one of my thoughts was “ which song in the game in this new game is gonna come out of nowhere and blow me away. Here it is! That little violin that kicks in gets me every time. So many good parts to this song. Also it kinda has a Moby vibe in some parts.

This section was one of my favorite parts of the entire game. It instantly gave me the same vibe I had when playing Remake's collapsed expressway, which was one of my favorite parts of that game. It's such a great feeling to adventure forth with Aerith.

You go back in time alot ofJapanese anime opening/ closing credit themes were the first to mix uplifting synth /orchestra music with electric guitar. A total recipie for success.

So far this is probably my favorite song from Rebirth. I liked it so much that I idled for a long time just to listen to it and created a separate save so I can listen to it when I want. Can’t wait for the album to be available for purchase! Thanks for uploading this great song, my friend.

For me, one thing I was really looking forward to in Rebirth was how they would recreate some of my favourite songs from the original. The Mt Corel climb really had that dark souls vibe where as you kept going higher and higher you could see the entire open area you were just in get smaller and smaller the higher you go. The sense of scale in this game is on point.

In the background of this epic journey is a couple of close friends travelling the world and having a blast and it breathes a whole new life into this kind of story telling this was a 10/10 game just got to the meridian ocean. Afraid to finish it don’t want the magic to end

There's a boss battle in chapter 11 Long Shadow of Shinra that gives off this vibe. the music in this game is outstanding. Definitely giving off collapsed expressway vibes

Reminds me of some of the ‘good future’ tracks on Sonic CD.

This game is that actual merge of xenoblade final fantasy and this song is the epitomy of that same feeling of climbing out of tephra cave or the gormott underbrush and witnessing the whole world
