  • @armorvil

    @armorvil

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@oscarzucchini6076 zodiac signs have different compatibilities with each other. A good compatibility will give higher numbers in damage and healing while the reverse is true. You want good compatibility not only between your party members so buffs & Raise connect and healing spells are more effective, but also with the enemy bosses so they take more damage from your attacks. Brave is not only a damage modifier that works on some physical attacks (higher brave = more damage), but it's also the % rate at which your reaction abilities (things like AutoPotion, HP Restore, Shirahadori/Blade Grasp, etc) trigger. Faith is a damage multiplier for magic attacks you deal AND take. So the lower your faith, the less damage you take from magic. Having 0 Faith makes you immune to magic, even healing magic (but your own magic attacks would also deal 0 damage, so if you're ok with never healing them with magic, for added survivability you want your characters that will never use magic to have as little Faith as possible. It's like "if you don't believe in magic, it can't hurt you"). EDIT: to give complete info I should add that some skills can permanently alter Brave & Faith values but you shouldn't let characters get to 95 Faith or higher, or to 5 Brave and lower. The reason is the former will make the character permanently leave your party to live a religious life, while the latter will permanently leave your party because they're now too scared to be on your team (and a character with less than 10 Brave in battle turns into an actual uncontrollable chicken that flees from enemies). As for why you would lower a unit's bravery : the % chance to get rare items through the movement ability "Move-Find item" is 100 minus that character's bravery, which means the lower the bravery of your "move-find item" user, the higher the chance to get good treasures.

    All I'd ask is for an updated job system. Something similar to the one used in FFT 1.3. If you're unfamiliar with it, it was a rom hack that fixed several jobs. Marksman, Wizard, and Priest/Cleric got completely redone, while weaker classes like Squire and Thief got buffs that made them playable even in mid-game.

  • @Black_Sheep_0213

    @Black_Sheep_0213

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@foxbear60 I think that sounds really cool! However, I'd hope for more than just that. They could add a couple new classes of course, and include every class/enemy type from all the FF:T's. They could change the art style to maybe something more detailed like World of FF for example (not to say that I mind the low-res sprites/battlefields). They could let you square off against other players (and in addition to an online mode, include a map maker). Perhaps they could even let you customize your individual units a bit more by letting you change their colors. I think there's a lot they could do to give the series an exciting refresh and bring both old and new players alike back in. :)

    @@Black_Sheep_0213 - I was only mentioning a few of the changes in the game. They did add bonus content, a couple new classes, new characters to recruit, and a whole lot more. My personal favorite was the inclusion of 3-way battles - three factions on the field at once. It completely changes the basic strategy and makes survival true challenge. I would definitely check out FFT 1.3 if you have the ability to do so. There's so many amazing differences between it and the base game that makes it feel like you're playing a true successor while living the same wonderful story.
