So many great players, Dragondarch, PJ, Joe, KirinDragon, Ericthefaceplant etc. I used to watch PJ a decade or so ago play with all the different characters, Kirin did the same too.

The commentary carries this run so much... 3:55:31 "You have to get excited about something when youre playing this game" The comment says it all
That sword that Wilme can use, "🗡️SWORD", I always called it the "sword of swords". Sounds cooler.
Looks like Elnard Wilme left his loincloth at home.
I loved all the seventh saga / elnard differences explained. as a big fan of the US version, It makes more sense now

7th SaGa is my 2nd favorite SaGa game after Small SaGa
Wow! Played this game as an early teenager. So painful at times but beat it. Way to make wonder why it took me so long to beat it!😂
The stat gains in Elnard are DOUBLE US 7th Saga, good gods lol. I've beaten 7th Saga more than once and for some reason I keep coming back to this hateful game. Anyway great run, runner, and commentary.
I'm still sad they never made the first 6 sagas.

The one time I've finished this game, it was a solo Esuna run. I got all the way to FOMA with Kamil/Valsu once, but I was severely underleveled, to the point I couldn't effectively grind on random encounters.
Has anyone ever explained why so many negative QoL changes were made to the US version?

They literally wanted to make the game harder and longer to beat, that's it. So they halved the stat growth. And didn't halve the stat growth of the apprentices, so you get smashed in the original. It sucks lol.
