Something I just realized.... This cameo covers all four channels. Since it's a major Hollywood production, he was dressed and made up by professionals. *(Style Theory)* In the Scene he presents a brief *Food Theory*. Obviously, this is a *Film (Theory)*. It's a film based on the topic he's covered most extensively on *Game Theory*.

I went with my brothers the first showing in my theater believe it or not. And although I was hushing them the whole time, when Matt showed up on scream, me and the entire Theater busted out with a bunch of screams laughter and repeating what he said. Best moment of my life.

Literally everyone in the movie theater were shocked an scream when we heard your voice and saw you. Many of the audience were adults in they 30s. Watching you theorize for almost a decade has been a amazing journey.

When I was watching the movie in theatres and you appeared on screen, everyone was screaming in joy. INCLUDING ME!! Your acting was the BEST. I cried when I heard your famous line. The best part of all of this. Weirdly enough this just feels like a human victory. After year and years of working towards this event both individuals decided to put aside what got them there to truly enjoy it. Idk but I thought it was so awesome and I’m so glad that they met and kept it real.

Regardless of how little lines you had, Your role made literally everyone so excited and Ecstatic- I know I was, especially when you said the iconic “It’s just a theory”, I was so excited throughout the whole thing and It’s so crazy to know that there’s finally a movie about a game franchise you love and the lore holder for it is in that exact movie

The entire audience started cheering when MatPat showed up on screen last night, so it's safe to say that the film was DEFINITELY made for the fans. Legitimately made with love. (The dream theory book also caused me to gasp and I started talking to the people next to me like an idiot hahaha) It was also fairly scary, so I was so happy as an original fan!

mark being the first security guard is such bittersweet information. like that is the perfect role for him to have had in the movie, but we won't be able to see what it would have been like to actually see mark in that role. but at least the film WANTED him to be a part of it

I was disappointed at first that Mark wasn't the security guard in the beginning, but now I'm excited because it means he has the opportunity to be a more important, longer lasting character in future fnaf movies

If they make a sequel, Mat should have a cameo as some conspiracy theorist. depending on the time the movie would take place, there could be a podcast run by him that's literally just mat making conspiracy theories about Freddy Fazzbears Pizzaria, everyone would think he's crazy while every theory is 100% correct, but because every one thinks he's crazy the theory's just make the company look better. maybe it could be similar to the guy in the books who was paid to make bad games to make the company look better, but done a bit different, kind of like how the games, books, and movie are all canon but not the same. considering Mat's role in figuring out and spreading the lore so everyone in the community is on the same page, a small role perfect for a cameo but still important to the lore like that one would be perfect for him.

The thing is, Mark being the first security guard that dies in the movie kinda makes sense. The guard gets captured by Foxy or something, and Marks first jump scare WAS Foxy, when he first died in Fnaf 1. It all makes sense, It's a shame Mark couldn't be that security guard.

If Mark’s in a future movie installment of FNAF, instead of “Guard who dies first” maybe his character could be some kind of investigative reporter who explores an Abandoned Restaurant. As a reference to his character “Jim”

I really hoped the movie was gonna be revolves around Matpat working in the pizzeria. Would have been dope. Imagine it opens up with him being hired for the job, he internally thinks to himself that he heard rumors that the place was haunted but he shrugs it off saying “but hey, that’s just a theory”. he gets the job and all goes bad within the first night, something’s clicks in his brain from an alternative universe (Matpat and the game theorist videos) that tell him that this place holds endless theories and secrets that Matpat must solve in his current universe in order to survive. Sometimes he runs into animatronics and starts chatting to them about theories he’s made and remembered from his alternative universe’s self, and gets attacked midway through saying them. Not going to go all in to detail but then at the end he thinks he clears the night and celebrates. “Nice! I made it through the night I get to live!!!” then all the animatronics show up in front of him and he quietly and horrifyingly mumbles “that’s… just a theory…. A G-“ then gets devoured by the animatronics. would’ve been a cool idea

I saw the movie 4 times at theater. Absolutely loved it! Matt Pat was one of the best parts of the movie. The whole movie just seemed so surreal and had a very cool dream like feel to it.

I loved having creators involved in the movie. Unfortunately I only watched Markiplier, you, and Wendigoon, so I didn't recognize the cab driver, but now there is so much I need to watch! I knew about Vanessa from SB but I know only the name. Loved seeing you in it though!

The amount of cheering, yelling and uproar that I heard and participated in when MatPat appeared on the screen in the absolutely crammed theatre was incredible. It truly felt like a shared moment for the community. Everyone was in complete shock. MatPat kept his secret hidden well, and I think the community wouldn't have had it any other way because of how amazing of a reveal it was to see Matthew's appearance live in the moment

me too! it's like they realized how important this was to people and really made an effort to understand and it's so cool, just makes me love the movie even more.

i’m sure majority can agree. as soon as i heard matpat i was a little like hmm whose voice is that and when they showed him and i gasped(so did many people in the theater). one of the best suprises matpat has done for us

I couldn’t tell ya’ how INCREDIBLY happy I was to see you in that movie. Tears swelled up and I felt my childhood colliding together once again. You and FNAF were there for me all my childhood and I can’t tell you how GOOD it felt to truly FEEL it again. You’re awesome, Matpat! So glad Scott Cawthon incorporated you in his vision. He’s just as awesome too!

When MatPat appeared on screen, everyone in my theatre cheered, this happened during multiple scenes. This movie was amazing and I loved every second of it, thanks!

I think we can all agree Matt's cameo was one of the films best moments, and when he said "that's just a theory!" I did a double take. The fact that they did that so shamelessly is incredible. LOVED IT!

I just noticed something, Matpat found a Chica pencil topper in his trailer, Chica's line in Ultimate custom night is "I was the first," and Matpat was day one scene one! Coincidence?

Whenever I saw the book about "Dream Theory" I instantly thought "Matpat is going to have fun with this" and seeing him just a few minutes later made me and my friend absolutely happy. You did fantastic in this movie so congrats!

So I came back from the movies like 30min ago. My schedule and the cinemas FNAF movie schedule didn't quite sinc so decided to wait until they change their screening hours. Didn't see this video or anything regarding the FNAF movie prior. I gotta say I was surprised and SOHYPED when I saw MatPat in the diner and he said "that's just a theory"

Matpats been on the lore for so long that he’s become the lore

Markiplier being the security guard in the opening scene would have been the greatest opening of all time.

I don't know though, it would have been cool to see mark there, but I feel like the opening guard was supposed to look a little pathetic, like a bit of a wuss, and I don't know if I can see mark like that, he's just too fit and muscular and has a strong jawline to play a character who's running away all scared and somewhat incompetent.

As bummed as I was that Markiplier wasn't in the movie, Matpat and Living Tombstones cameos honestly made my night. Plus considering how amazingly well this movie has overperformed in the box office, there's definitely going to be a locked in trilogy that allows more leeway for more special internet cameos.

@@khadajhin i heard somewhere (not sure of the validity) that the only reason Mark wasn't in the movie was because of scheduling issues (possibly due to Iron Lung?) otherwise im sure he'd have jumped on the opportunity.

My mediate thought to hearing ness 10:59 I am a huge Undertale fan and I was a huge sans is ness person so now, whenever I hear Ness, I think of that

Male Waiter was a one of a kind character. Everything about him was daring and amazing. Male Waiter carried the movie on his back, he was a true cinematic masterpiece that MUST make a reoccurrence in a sequel. All praise Male Waiter 🙌

Dude u were AMAZING in the film, my friends and I were so excited, like squealing in the theater that one of our favorite and childhood KZreadrs was on screen

ik its been months but I went when it came out. When they saw MatPat they freaking erupted in yelling i just- it was surreal to see it in theatres, and like every in the theatre was friends for some reason literally like i was talking to complete strangers like "You look kinda like Freddy." "Wait you've seen that lore video too? ikr-"

No exaggeration , the second your voice came over the speakers and then you appeared the whole theater erupted into applause, I truly hope that was the reaction across the country. Great job Matt

Dude, when I saw you in the movie, I yelled in excitement and my dads looked at me like "You know this person?" 😭

when i watched the movie my whole friend group didn’t realise at first but we all knew your voice seemed familiar and then when u were shown again and we all screamed 😭😭 and then everyone in the theater was screaming “he said the thing!”

Seeing MatPat playing a character named Ness working in Sparky's Diner was genuinely the hardest laugh I got in the entire film (and that's saying a lot; there were some other excellent fandom in-jokes in there). Massive props to you for landing the part, and to the filmmakers for keeping it quiet!

I just watched the fnaf movie last night and it was awsome! I literally screamed when i saw your part on the movie!!!!

Bro the second I watched it and heard "it's just a theory" I yelled at my dad "ITS MATPAT!!!"

It’s so sweet that Scott wanted your name in the movie to be an Easter egg for your own channel/brand. And that it’s such an iconic reference is additionally really thoughtful. I was so happy to see you in the film; I’m glad you kept it a secret so that we could have that surprise. The whole time I was watching the film, I could tell how much the people who made it love this franchise and love the fans. It really felt like they wanted to make this for the community. There was a certain level of humility and trust that you often don’t see with adaptations of established IP, and I really appreciated it. You could tell they wanted to do right by the community.

My entire theater, me included, actually screamed when you appeared onscreen. We almost didn't hear you say "That's just a theory," but of course everyone did. I lost track of the plot for a few minutes after that because I was freaking out so much lol. Best film experience of my life, in part because of you, Mat!

For real, my entire theater was just laughing and reacting to the same things and clapping at the end of the movie. This was a once in a lifetime experience for me.

Man, I’ve been watching your videos since I was in elementary school, and I was soooo bummed to hear you wouldn’t be in the movie, but it was totally worth it for that surprise. I literally screamed in the theater when I saw you on screen, I was so excited i was practically vibrating in my seat.

My theater screammmmed when we saw you! Everyone had a great time! I'm so glad you did this deep dive and your input was well-awaited. I'm glad they carried on this reverence to do justice to the fans and our fandom. I'm so so so proud of you, Matt!
