This is why I say you can't count Aiden out. I know the majority of football viewers are in love with a running QB, and why not it's just an added demention to your offense? But, what's really wrong with Aiden? He can't run very fast, and he sometimes throws too late are his biggest issues. What does he do well? He's super smart, he does not seem to panic in the face of pressure. He knows what t do and what not to do. He can make almost any throw. I'd rather have a QB that doesn't choke, than a super athlete that runs, then fumbles, or throws a costly int. What I have noticed in AOC is that he, in just half a season, has quickly learned from his mistakes. Now is he perfect? No, and he still has a long way to go. I believe that he will learn to throw the football sooner. If he gets better at everything else and does them at a high level, then he can be a great QB. More of a pocket passer though. Let's not get this wrong, he is not like Carr, whereas Carr can run and is fast, but just did not move with the pocket well. Aiden can move with the pocket, he just lacks escape ability. I believe you can win with Aiden, especially if he will sure-up parts of his game. He's smart enough to understand that he needs to improve on these aspects of his game. Unlike many QB's out there where it seems as they are denial of the faults in their game. Keep watching AOC. Not saying he should absolutely start next season, but I for one am glad that we have him and he is not on another team.

I agree! Aidan has poise and great footwork. That created a lot of well timed passes! Carr would panic and get happy feet. That created a lot of frustration!

The touch, anticipation passes and him surveying the field is difficult for some qbs, yet Aidan is doing all that. Even showed his ability to use his legs to create extra time for tds Would like to see Aidans best passes. Short, intermediate and deep passes. And if possible, the rollouts he had where tucker doesnt catch the balls vs dolphins and vikings. Thanks

I disagree that we're desperate to draft or sign a veteran FA QB this year. I feel like this kid just needs a full offseason with the 1's and to work on his mobility and agility and he'll be a gamer.

I don't disagree with that, but if you're desperate and get a rookie QB... Are they gonna get one that actually fits the system or rush it... Plus what free agent QBs are out there?

Consider he worked under McDaniels complex useless playbook. If he can slide left/right out of the pocket Aiden could work out. Last 4 games 8 tds, 0 picks, 0 fumbles. Nice improvement.

100 percent, plus you know Adams was in his ear asking for that ball too. He went from a rookie who wasn't going to start, to finishing strong. People keep wanting a Mahomes type, you don't need that if you have the pieces around you.

Dudes trash. If this was the 1900s Adain would be ok but in the day and age a boring ass pocket passing qb with very average to below average throwing ability DOES NOT get the job done, especially when your head couch is AP while his comp is Andy fucking Reid and mahomes, Jim fucking harbaugh, and Sean fucking Payton. Tired of these shitty qbs and shitty offenses

The haters saying hes just like carr😂 carr is above and beyond this generic knockoff, same system playsers and play callers and raiders were bottom 10 in offense yards and scoring in 2023 with help from the defense that finished top 10 in points allowed. With carr in 2022 top 10 in yards and scoring with a bottom 5 defense on the other side. Raiders need kirk cousins or trade up for jayden daniels, but it might not matter because they're supposedly hiring the OC the bears just fired 🤦‍♂️

Just saying he could be an option. I don't see fields coming to the raiders to work with his former oc. Russell Wilson could work possibly. Both could be affordable options. And statistical speaking they're close to the same production. Raiders will have to pay more for kirk cousins for the similar production imo.

Aiden is just like Derek Carr in so many ways. He won’t run, he cant improvise, he lacks any kind of consistency. That said he doesn’t play Scared (like DC)! The Raiders need a new quarterback. That said Aiden will be a great back up.

100% Will L and AOC had to make sure the star WR got the ball. AR got hurt because he's a run first offense and he's the first option. Then there's Bryce whose in a cluster in Carolina. Arguably, CJ and Texans might be the best organization out of all the ones just listed.

The best qbs to ever play in the NFL have been pocket passers! Tom Brady could never run! Who's better than him?? I can name many great pocket passers who were superior for a long time at the NFL level and rarely ran! Hahaha.... The NFL has been trying to dumb down the qb position for several years now, and it's never going to work out! To be a great qb, you need these qualities; -Intelligence (reading defensive schemes) -Fast release -pocket awareness (ability to make tacklers miss) -strong/ adequate arm -leadership qualities These are what it takes to be a great qb at the NFL level! Running around and being super athletic and strong armed will never equate to long term success in the NFL! Defensive schemes and speed at the NFL level are far too good, defenses always figure out an athletic qbs weakness, next moves, and their inability to read what the defense will bring next! The NFL and it's woke stance is causing many fans to no longer even watch them anymore. The NFL is more concerned with "gay" and "hate" nonsense! Just give us football games and leave the bullsh-t out of it!
