The clay is extremely sticky. I only have 1 bucket and I believe it is 10 inches / 25cm. I am really enjoying the Jansen. It is small but seems to be powerful for what it is.

Good job and operating skill. What is the hydraulic oil filter specification on backhoe? I mean yellow cover.

Ján Bračík thank you kindly for your comment. I do not have the filter at the moment but I will try to remember to record it next time I am with the Jansen.

@@SolarDrew many thanks for answer. Did you had some troubles with this backhoe? Some leakages issue or something like this? Or it is really good machine?

Ján Bračík Not with the hydraulics, but the axel spindles bent inward. I have seen this happen to another owner also. It is a good working tool.

Just bought Jansen mb 300. My friend has a H. freight Backhoe and I compared each of the models and it is obviously apparent that the Jensen is heaver built. Plus not from CHINA.

Definitely from China. Search alibaba for towable backhoe you will find it model identical until the last screw. They just have it painted silver by the chinese manufacturer.

@@c46236 no doubt Chinese but much different than the Harbor Freight unit in terms of performance and quality. Nonetheless, I sold my Jansen.

Dam U getting good with that. U look like u are having fun also, betas doing it by hand with a rake & shovel that would suck.

I'd never do it by hand. It's a pretty easy machine to learn and I am starting to develop muscle memory. I started off slow but the last 100' of the 230' went pretty quickly.

Hi. I am torn between buying a HF backhoe and a Jansen. Do you still have one? Any major issues? Would you buy again? It's hard to find any videos in English on the Jansen, but a lot on the HF.

I haven’t done much with it, but if I were able to afford a tractor with a backhoe, that would be better. But you cannot beat the price of the Jansen. It’s a powerful little critter and gets the job done if it’s not too big.

Moark Willy about 40’ of it. It’s clay so it would have taken a long time.

it does the job. after running heavy equipment. it looks like a toy lol. your water table is awfully high. that's going to settle bad when it dries up.

It is a very small mini-backhoe. It's cute, aint it? lol The water in the trench is from the rain. It's all clay and since it rained the water seeped out from the surrounding land into the trench. I hope things do settle since I created quite a mound over the fill job. I definitely have more work to be done.

Don't you worry it will settle. You won't have enough material shortly

tbirdracefan it's all clay. The clay will stick in the bucket and won't fall out without the chains.

Interesting. Never seen it before. Lots of clay where I live also. Thinking of adding one of these to the toy box.

tbirdracefan you'll appreciate it. It's a little package but quite a workhorse. I've no regrets.
