Oh man, as a kid in the 80's i used to wait for the 7s and follow Fiji religiously, I was then lucky enough to play with some great Fijian players on my school team in Brussels - what fantastic characters, friends and players they were too - we are still friend 40 odd years later and why wouldn't you be. The flair, the physicality, fluidity of play and pure natural aggression on the contact epitomises all that is rugby (without glorification or belittling of opposition - their delivery simply is all the above) - On their day, Fiji can beat the best in the world and I hope they do that too - as an Irishman, I'd be happy to loose to Fiji any day, they so deserve to be in the top 5 and to kick ass amongst the higher ranked nations. You guys punch so above your weight, i love it! They all seem to be Brian Lima's!! Go Fiji - Samoa - Tonga - take the world stage and show us what you guys have, cos, you have LOADS of it! The whole world is thankful that Fijians are the friendliest most humble people alive. Because theyre tough as nuts. But since the last world cup, Fiji has played multiple northern hemisphere teams & played the ABs more times then they have like 30 years prior to that. If Samoa at least, could get opportunities like this, they are also a team that has gigantic potential

It's like a battlefield watching Island boys play, Tongans crash and break through defences (Bunker bombs), Samoans annihilate everything on their path (Tanks) and Fijians run on special ops attack and hunt anything running away! (Heat seeker scud missile) 😂😂 Gotta love rugby with these guys.

What's great about Fiji is that their players are always in support of each other when they have the ball possession and are quick on their feet after making tackles on defence. They run the ball hard and fast, utilising their size and drawing in multiple defenders. Such a great team.

So much respect for them, played a bit of rugby with their military guys in Baghdad and sure do love their rugby.

College Football coaches after finding out about Aussie Punters about to turn up to Fiji looking for Running Backs and pretty much every position on defense. These gentleman are big and athletic.

They did but with a heavy price with all those injuries they sustained during the match almost 4 of their starters were taken out and never returned what a physical encounter that was.

England v Fiji will sort a few things out in the context of the tournament. Tough call.
