Played a ton of this game as a kid. The sequel will never not disappoint me

Holy shit. So I remember getting to at least stage 16 as a kid with my friend. I barely remember randomly choosing this game since I had no idea what game would be good or not. Me and a friend of mine played all the time and it was with him I got so far into the game. I remembered this game so differently now that I've grown up and have such distant memories of the game but when I watch this I know this is what game we were playing. For so long I had no idea what the game was called. the nostalgia is through the roof!

I'll be honest with you EIDOS the game company who made the game went out of a business and sold its assets to a different company many many years back, and i dont think we will see this remastered although i really want this to get remastered with the same music for sure, but unless theres a petition for it for the game company to agree to a remaster i don't think they will

@@denardoellisjr it's an underrated but popular game, Heck I wouldn't even care if they throw in bonus characters and features new addition weapons but I reckon if it got enough votes we could make it happen

Ahhh... those gooooood old days back when I was a child.. I remember asking for 5pesos coin from my father, and went to the other side of the yard to pay the play station arcade just to play this memorable game and the other games.. #90's kid here♥️🙂

IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS GAME OMG

One of the best most underrated beat em ups ever. This and die hard. However die hard didn't hold a candle up to this and was wayyyy shorter. I remember breaking controllers when that douchebag with the firetruck and fire ax butchered my ass. I still have this somewhere but it barely works and I don't have a PS to play it on. This would be sick as a reboot or with a fight stick

This was played at a higher resolution than a real PlayStation, and I also used PGXP, which I would suggest looking up if you want to know more about it. This video was from 2 players on the same PC.

I used Retroarch to play this. Normally, if I'm not mistaken, the .cue file should be loaded to get the music working on a PS1 game. If that doesn't work, there are usually different copies of the same game that you could try.

@@arronmunroe The majority of the cue files I've had of this game back in the early 2000's up until now haven't always worked for the music files. Still, I'll look into the retroarch you mentioned and see what happens. Do you remember where you downloaded yours from, the cue file of Fighting Force I mean?

@@Ology007 I can't say I remember in this case, but I can't post any rom links anyways. That said, if you google Fighting Force (USA) (v1.2), there appears to be more than one place you could get it. This particular copy had multiple track .bin files that need to all be in the same folder, unlike some dumps, which have just one .bin and one .cue file.

I started about 3 years ago building my own channel and I've played Fighting Force at least 4 times. I've always enjoyed this game but anyways I digress. Thanks for the information again. I always thought I was subscribed to your channel, that thought is no longer a factor but instead a reality.

The emulator I used is Retroarch with Beetle PSX HW core. I haven't tried it much, but I think Duckstation is also a good PSX emulator.

You can do it with any emulator that has a high res feature. Most PlayStation emulators do have that option, but Retroarch was the one used here.

I had pc version fighting force 1 and i don't think pc version had save data on windows 98 and windows xp
