I appreciate your visit to this channel. This channel features a wide variety of genres, with a focus on multiplayer (usually played online) and retro gaming. I always record at 60fps when possible, even if that means modifying the frame rate of the game itself. I don't plan to add commentary to any of my videos because I have received positive feedback for keeping the original game audio. Have a look around and I hope you find something you enjoy.
I use Fraps for recording much of my gameplay and I use VirtualDub for editing, although my older videos were edited with Windows Movie Maker XP. My computer has an i5-4590 CPU with a GTX 1070 graphics card.

Yes, and I should add that I find it very difficult to not get turned to stone, because it seems as if there is a delay when you stop shaking the joycon.

How did you manage to get X-zone into multiplayer?
I used a code that forces the game to load that stage in multiplayer.
@@arronmunroe Wow, I figured you had used code to make this work. I've never seen X-zone being played simultaneously multiplayer. Congratulations on discovering this code.
Thanks. One other small change that is not too noticeable is I made it so when you press jump twice, it does the usual shield graphic used in single player. For whatever reason, that doesn't show up normally in multiplayer (even here, it doesn't show up when watching the other player on your screen). Also, I think I had looked into getting the bosses to appear in the other stages, but I might have had some trouble with it, and they definitely were not in sync, just like it was in X-Zone. Sonic Advance 3 apparently doesn't have in sync bosses, and the game was even meant to be played like that.
@@arronmunroe True, I hadn't noticed that in the video, the insta-shield doesn't appear in multiplayer even though it works, but it did in X-zone. In Sonic Advance 3 there is a lot of desynchronization with the bosses, you can see it in my videos that I posted regarding this game. So here it wouldn't be any different, but it would be really cool to have bosses in multiplayer.
Yes, I have also tried Sonic Advance 3. The thing is, I have only tried multiplayer through emulation, but I did have reason to believe that the emulation was accurate to the real system. Also, even though the bosses are out of sync, the boss is still defeated at the same time because it syncs the number of hits. When I was trying the bosses in this game, it was the same as in X-Zone, where there is absolutely no sync.

When I was 11 I went on a camping trip to France from Ireland, a beautiful resort with many swimming pools, hiking trails, BMX tracks etc, the Sun shone every single day but I saw none of it. I spent the entire 3 weeks and all of my holiday money in the arcade room playing this! The 90's were a beautiful time for me.

Yeah, I knew the PSP version has some exclusive content. I wish I could record the PSP version with 4 players, but that isn't something that I would be able to do with PSP emulation as it currently is.

I remember playing this in a sit down version in my local bowling alley ,ive always liked this game ,it was okay on dreamcast too but the experience of the sit down arcade version with steering wheel was just the best ,cmon sega give us this remastered

I wish this game still existed it was my favourite 99 style game out of the 3 (the 3 games being tetris 99, f-zero 99, and pac-man 99)

보면 볼 수록 아스트랄하다. 특히 신토불이 글자와 텀블팝 타발루가 악토스가 애벌레로 바꾼것만 보면 무슨 생각으로 만든건지 알 수가 없을 정도임. 그당시 국내게임 개발사들이 열악한 수준은 어쩔 수 없지만 이와는 별개로 두부를 으깬다고 결코 순두부가 될 수 없다는걸 저 똥겜이 증명함
