I bought a 4# jug of blue dot 3 or so years ago and still haven't opened it. I've been nursing a 1# jug for years also. I've been a miser like you wouldn't believe. The cost is too high to replace it. For me anyway. With the recent inflation,..... man, forget it.

I came up with the same loads for Long Shot & been using that for a good while 👍. Those roll crimps are pretty & neat. That's why I started using it, its fast & easy too.

If you’ve ever seen the Gaep loading machines, you know they use multiple different type of crimp stages using roll crimp like crimpers. We mostly have Mecs and we all know adjusting the fold crimp finisher can be a nuisance. I’ve taken advantage of having a BN2 or a OTP round edge roll crimp tool. I use my Mec to start my crimp, and use the Mec crimp finisher with cam, but only bring it down enough to just close the folds just about flush without camming all way down. I then take that round over to my drill press and use the BN2 or the round edge roll crimp to finish my crimp. EVERY CRIMP TURNS OUT PERFECTLY, use a overshot card if you’re stack is a little low. I mean factory like perfect every time and no more adjusting and readjusting or no more smashed crimps. Try it out Wade if you haven’t already. That’s the one thing that erks me about my MEC, it almost never gives a perfect rounded crimp.

Mr, Wade,Thank you for another great video, Also we have been saving up all over our shotgun shells to send you If you want them all once fired factory Ammo, mostly 3" but there's some 2&3/4" we go through a lot of buckshot here practicing and hunting, Plus a few of our customers brought some in,All of them are federal, Winchester and Remington, Probably 1500 plus rounds, And this you are right about the rain here in Marion county FL it's been dumping on us every day all day starting to think I missed a memo about the second coming 🤣🤣 also miss Lisa said to tell ice age hello she absolutely loves Capt buster, stay safe and God bless

BUT, if you don't have a 3" shotgun, A 2 3/4" long wad(Active T-42) for 1 1/2 oz loads with #1 Buffered and Blue Dot(35.5 Grns Slow perfect powder for very heavy loads) will equal the 3" Performace. Just throwing my glove on the table. 👍Got stuck with my Browning Superposed 12 Ga 26" Upland I/C-Mod when my Mom bought it for me when 19 back in 1970. Very long learning process to get it to shoot long range. But I did it. Made a fine 25 yds gun to a very effective 40 yds shotgun for everything by handloading, Missed the buss when Brilley started screw choking fine shotguns. Also 800X my favorite for 1 1/4 Oz fast loads. Up's How rude, forgot Happy New Year and a new Gun on the rack that you wife might not notice🤣

Very good information on loading for Shotguns I am a newbie at shotgun been loading metallic cartridges for years. I really like the way that you and other you tubers work together and share info back and forth. More people looking for, "the answer" means more than likely that the answer is found. Good videos thanks and God bless you and yours.😊
