In Alaska you have to find the halibut, down here there are so few that you need to do your damndest to get the halibut to come to you

Stupid question but Iam a Columbia guy with a very capable boat cross Columbia alot just have never been up that way could you please rattle off some launches a person might use for that halibut opener would love to participate

This disabled veteran likes to use John Wayne Marine in Sequin Bay and head out to Hines bar good luck hopefully weather permitting I will be there this weekend

Maybe a dumb question but, do we have to fish barbless for Halibut?

Barbless in Puget sound and the Strait of Juan Da Fuca. Barbed is allowed in the ocean.
