Fish Hunt Northwest strives to bring a quality produced outdoor fishing and hunting show to you each week, in a talk show format. FHN will consist of insightful/educational conversation that will tackle the tough political topics, others do not want to engage in. We work hard to bring you the factual-information, not just more internet opinionated banter.
Every episode will also include plenty of in-studio guest and phone interviews with guides and outfitters to get you the latest reports around the Puget Sound, the Northwest and beyond.
Every show will also include a Tri-State weather report, covering WA, OR, & ID to give you a great look at the weekend forecast so you can plan your outdoor adventures.
Each week we will also bring you plenty of "How-To's" covering everything from rigging in all facets of fishing, curing bait, filleting fish, processing meat, etc.
Be sure to tune in every week as we will also be in the kitchen, always cooking fish, fowl and game with Chef Kelly, bringing some of the very best outdoor recipes on the planet.
FHN is a very well-rounded show with endless topics. join us each week, get educated and entertained...

I’m new to halibut and understand this is a larger fish but 250lb seems overkill for leader material for puget sound halibut. I don’t own a boat at all and would go in a charter if anything. What would be a ideal jigging rig? I plan on using T-Turn 120lb swivels that I can rig for bait and jigging with 80lb powerpro max cuattro braid for my main line.
