Now that's what I call Flawless washing, No monkeying around with stops and starts and sensing and all that crap!!! It gets to work right away filling and washing without wasting any time, trying to determine how much the load weighs and all that jazz!!! The spin balancing is excellent also, no starting and stopping 20 times to balance the load, it balances it in the beginning with the Bearing balls built into the ring for a smooth and fast rev up to get the job done quick!!! Also Don't let that 3.5 cu. ft. tub fool you, it can hold quite a bit of clothing as you can see... I've heard people complain that this washer was too small and couldn't hold a lot, For the life of me I can't understand how people would want to put a whole hamper full of clothes in just one load without sorting, using the proper temps, cycles or anything just so they can get done quickly??? BTW Kirk, the Bulky cycle will only spin on medium regardless of the spin setting, so that any excessive vibration caused by the bulkyness in the drum won't harm the computer components!!! Thanks for the great video and have a nice weekend!!!

This is definitely an excellent washer. Well built without silly cycles that are there for show. Great performance even with this super large load. If I had the room this would be the front load washer for me. As Robert mentioned, no playing around goes into the cycle and completes it without endless sensing and wasting time. Speed Queen added a heater for use with the Allergan cycle I’m sure this is to appease the millennials that feel its required.

An amazing washer! I just wish the price was around $1300-1400. The asking price is kind of ridiculous compared to other premium brands. The Miele T1 is a bit smaller in capacity, seems just as well built and costs less. One thing about the Speed Queen is the much shorter cycle times. Why a front load needs more than a hour is a mystery to me. I’m looking to buy a well built front load in about 6 months, I really want the SQ, but the price seems really hard to justify.

As of July I purchase this machine from AJMadison online and did receive it. Happy day indeed 😊 that then turn sad 😞 . On the first load its making some sounds that aren’t good. I believe the door has a hinge problem but I’m not sure. I called SQ and AJMadison and a technician came for a look. The report came back as a new washer is being shipped. Do you have a video of the heavy duty cycle? I have five kids and have been wanting this machine for years. We have tried and LG which was ok but broke constantly and more recently a Maytag that takes three hours to wash the kinds of loads I need it to and often the laundry has to be rewashed because it simply does not use enough water. I just don’t want to buy another washer that does not use enough water. My children are young and I let them play. Their clothes are filthy at the end of the day and I wash a ton of laundry per week. This almost sounds to good to be true.

@@jpadgr8 the speedqueen can actually handle a load of laundry as big as the tub as opposed to the LG and the maytag which had a huge tub but you could only put a small load in it. I did end up purchasing the front load speed queen and according to the manual it can handle up to 22lbs of dry laundry. The LG had an 8lb capacity. I purchased the speed queen in 2020 and it is amazing. So much better then any other washer I have ever used. The extra large tub means nothing if you can only fill up 1/4 of the tub. Also the speed queen instruction manual recommends running larger loads as it creates more agitation. Worth every penny. And it has not stopped working once. At 30 large loads a week. Not to mention that it cleans my laundry better in a fraction of the time.

Hey! Nice video. I just got a similar (DF7 & FF7) set two days ago, however I’ve had some issues, I wanted to ask you what you thought. 1.The dryer door is not flush with the body, the bottom seems to stick out more than the top. I’m not sure if I’m just being finicky, but after spending so much money, I feel like it should be completely level. 2. A small but significant amount of water and suds will come out of the detergent drawer and leak down the machine no matter how much soap I use. I’ve tried several different types, and it does not change the outcome. 3. The most horrible screechy rattling noise comes from the machine unless you take the bottom pedestal panel off. 4. Socks, commonly get stuck in the rubber gasket next to the glass window. I’m not sure if it’s normal for front front loaders, but it happens every time. Thanks in advance !:)

@Robby Dey that is the thing, they do NOT be ALL wet and soapy. Even if they get soapy, they still need plenty of water to rinse it out thoroughly....which they do NOT do. You have no idea how many times I have had to rewash/rinse cycle over and over again to try and get out all of the freaking soap. Still doesn't work though. No matter how little detergent I use...I literally used only one tablespoon of it a few times. The washing machine still left soap residue on the clothes. These stupid things are completely nonefficient. They cause you to have to do loads over and over again making using less water redundant. In fact, we probably wind up using more energy and more...even more water, doing loads over&over again to get the soap out, than we did with the old non HE washing machines, which always thoroughly got out all of the soap. There is another problem with these stupid washing machines. They have a tendency to destroy clothing. Both of the ones I have used, have damaged some of my clothing and destroyed some of my bedding.😾 I never had that problem with the old ones.

I notice that it took you 45 minutes to do one load, while in the Laundromat it takes from 25 to 30 minutes a wash in Speedqueen washers. I was checking on the web the price 2,129 for 3.5 cu pretty small and priciest.

Looks like the you can fill the SQ much more than other front loaders, so it’s likely more comparable than the numbers indicate.

Why the heck does it shake around so much, my cheap Frigidaire was way smoother. I just bought this washer and it seriously sounds like it's going to shake apart, levelled and feet firm on concrete, braces out. I'm actually thinking about just taking it back, it can't be good to bang around like that

Shipping bolts out too? I think there is brace in front and bolts in back. The 2 teams of install guys who "installed " my unit had zero clue about the shipping packing. And the salesman tried to tell me there was no suspension in the unit to worry about. Unbeleivable.

@@edwina3358 It is a unit that needs proper install. Without the removal of both the shipping bolts in back AND the solid metal brace from the front(behind the front bottom panel) the drum will be locked in place. It spins but can’t move up and down or side to side. So when the spin cycle happens, all that centrifugal energy is transferred to the entire unit and it will rock like crazy, because the suspension isn’t absorbing all that energy. I got this unit with dryer stacked on it, and the install guys leveled it and removed back bolts but did not know there was a front brace that needed to come out. It shook like mad but after the front brace was out, it’s great. I keep the bolts and the brace in the laundry room just in case the machine needs to be moved in the future.

I’m sorry no matter how well it’s built you can’t get really clean clothes using a cup of water. NO MORE front loaders for me!

Except front loaders have managed to clean clothes in Europe over the past 60 years without the monstrous amounts of water top loaders use. Interesting
