What do you think of Mont with Gilgamesh? Third unit could be Oldoa, Tifa or A2? Dont they play well together with the dark espers Vcs?

Yep very strong combo. Oldoa will have to hold 2 agility VCs tho, I will go over those setups in his showcase vid.

This is what I’m planning on doing with Greg at first. That team is ready to go for me. Sadly Sephiroth is a slow build, but I’m looking forward to getting him online.

No, his upgrades are good but I would much rather pickup Seifer and run Knight + warrior, if they cost the same amount of vis.

Oh that’s Veritas of Fire. He is a free unit we all can get with medals earned from class match, quick pick & free match. He should be arriving in GL in a couple weeks if not sooner.

3:42 Wait a second. Another unit from FF8? At least currently, I have only heard that Seifer will be definitively the only unit in FF8. Is this wrong? Are we expecting a second FF8 unit?

I hope they don’t bring another ff8 unit & VC but the event lasts too long for just 2 new releases. Maybe they are just giving enough time for players who don’t have the old FF8 units 🤞

He is super useful against units with re-raise & barriers such as Sephiroth. His issue is lack of re-raise or courage.

I'm surprised you'd recommend Gilgamesh over Lucielle. I would think Lucielle would slot better and fill more holes, especially with how much longer the new units last before they die?

She is a great unit that has great support & nasty attacks. I would recommend her to those who have Gilgamesh and Sephiroth. Lucielle is a luxury item on a 3-unit team, the core are still the DPS units. If I can only have one of the 2, Gilgamesh is my choice.

You mentioned that summer glaci will return?is that true?

Yes. She will comeback in either July or August, just like all other summer units.

He hasn’t comeback on JP yet. By the time that he does, he might not be that good. He is an old gen unit after all. His best attribute is barrier break from long but Seifer can do that as well, and he works really well with Cloud & Jeume. I would suggest to reevaluate when he does comeback.
