In Rebrith, while climbing to the Niblehiem reactor, Yuffie asked Cloud if he would join Wutai. She then says the whole group could join the “Yuffie Recon Patrol” or YRPs. Another call back to Final Fantasy X-2, since YRP in that game means Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.

It's the dance Aerith performs in chapter 13 that gets me, it looks like the one Yuna from FFX performs when she does sendings and I was screaming when I saw it

you don't need to replay the chapter 11 to get that bladed staff for aerith. if you miss it a vendor in sector 5 sells it in chapter 14.

They never said it'll end with the events of advent children, they've said that the story "links up with" advent children. VERY different. I think this means AC has already happened in the original game's timeline, and now the "Omni" versions of Sephiroth and Aerith have already experienced the events of AC.

I hope they do in fact use this whole mess to actually save Aerith and not just to confuse us and give us the same result.

There’s a callback to Crisis Core when taking Yuffie to the sky wheel in the gold saucer. She’ll mention that she once met a SOLDIER and she wanted to prove herself by showing her best moves. She then says he eventually said “Ya got me!” And that she bought it at first but he was just playing along for a dumb kid. This references on a side quest in Crisis Core chapter 3 I think when obtaining the Chocobo summon, Zack will run into the person who’s been sending him spam, The Treasure Princess, that being a younger Yuffie where the events Yuffie explained to Cloud play out.

Also in cosmo canyon when you get access to the town vault you can find pictures of RedXIII's father Seto and mother along with a tiny Nanaki

About the Lion King bit. Tetsuya Normua stated that Lions are his favourite animal and that the Lion King is one of his favourite movies.

Not surprising considering that his initial concept for Sora in KH was as a lion-like child with a chainsaw blade.

Yuffie also hums the victory theme in Rebirth in addition to Barret. As well, she sings her own variant of the chocobo theme, too!

Hmmm.. I don’t think the portrait in Shinra Manor is a young Rufus 🤔 I suspect that’s a portrait of Rufus’ father when he was younger

You’re right. Rufus would’ve been younger than that when the mansion was in use.

Another Dachao callback can be heard while climbing Mount Nibel and Yuffie recounts having to climb the giant statue as part of her Ninja training.

I am still curious how Deep Ground and the Tsviets will play into the larger Remake story

Never played Dirge of Cerberus so Nero was new to me when I encountered him. But his looks, abilities and mannerisms (on top of all of the easter eggs between FF7 and 10) were giving me serious Anima vibes. I really felt like it was a direct call back to that aeon which was definitely the coolest one at least for me.

People should really do a thorough research before making a video to save face, Yes its a mistake we are humans but man that could've been easily avoided if you actually played the game

I doubt they'll do it cuz they're desaturating all the best moments. But it'd be cool if they kept the slap fight in FF7R3. Like have it start with slaps then as they get angrier actually start fighting. But I betcha they'll just do some dramatic camera cuts and start fighting instead.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was one hell of a long grind to 100% Platinum. I had to spend 300 hours doing it! Remake was easier except Hard Mode which I found significantly easier in Rebirth.

red 13 is a baby behemoth you can kinda tell when ya see seto as they have the same mohawk hair and freyed fire tail, yeah they look like small behemoths and they said 48 is a teenager which means gets bigger.... or should.

Where can I read about the story is going to follow Advent Children?

I’m afraid to see what they turn the weapon fights into. Cause they are either gonna be way more difficult or way easier compared to the original. And the reception to either or is going to be divisive

Which weapons are you talking about? Because depending on how high level you were, Diamond and Ultimate Weapon are pretty easy fights. Emerald and Ruby on the other hand … obviously a different story. But I think they’ve proved with Pride & Joy in Remake, and subsequently Gilgamesh in Rebirth, that they can handle the hard-hard battles.

Rebirth is absolutely amazing if not a bit confusing. Can’t wait for the final chapter

They explain Red's voice change literally within the first minute of this video. Also that happens halfway through Rebirth once you reach Cosmo Canyon. Before that, Red sounds exactly the same as he does in Remake.
