That water resist for the support unit is completely out of place, yet par for the course with gumi. I'm shocked they let a water unit be played this much. It's not how gumi rolls.

Can't wait till Monday in Global, I want Sephiroth, play it with Cloud and Jume.

I think Sephiroth’s VC is more valuable. All the other 3 are not limited, you might just pick them up randomly down the line.

Will Summer Glaci be relevant/must pick up when she reruns? Seeing a lot of comps with her lately, and have never really fell off since she's been out.

As of right now, I think she is worth pulling for. She is likely to get MA2 & possibly LB upgrade, however still need to see the timing of her return & what’s the meta like then.

With Truststones and his Sword he can get to 50 AP Reduction. Very Efficient against Veritas TMR

Just picked up the game. What's the quickest and easiest way to get the To the Lifestream VC? I was fortunate enough to be handed Sephiroth on my first AC pull, so uh, gonna take that as a hint and just build him to the nines. And Masamune, for that matter.

Congrats!! Banners for Lifestream VC will come out next week. Try to farm enough recipes for a +5 Masamune before the event goes away, the weapon stages will appear once you clear all the AC story stages under the event tab.

People discard evasion set ups to quickly IMO. Yes there are sure-hits, but if you're using a sure-hit skill, you're not using one of your better skills.

Is there any way to obtain vision cards from collaboration events after they end (like "to the lifestream")?

Nope. Once the collab ends you won’t be able to get anymore shards until the collab returns. In could be years like previous collabs.

Nope once collab leaves everything goes with it. For units, the only option is guild barracks. For VCs, there is nothing.

if you don't have Psaro Vc maxed how would you go about Seph & the 2 units to do evade?

It could be difficult. You might want to try secrets of the heart in the main slot for 35% luck, Psaro card in the sub or the MR luck card (13% luck after elder awakened). The 🦕 card could be the main agility card and generic agility as sub. If you are going with the MR luck card, you are losing out on 8% luck and 7% agility. That’s about ~15% to 20% evasion (very rough math).

is any of the new VCs a must have for Seph? is the only unit im pulling it and plan to go into a ranbow team because fire element is bad on my account :D

The lifestream VC which will release next week is the kind of a must have for Sephiroth, as it is the only unit res VC for the katana group. It is basically the Dark Tetra card that supports a few weapon groups. Gilgamesh & his VC will work very well with Sephiroth too. You might want want to get Gilgamesh first then thing about the lifestream card. They should overlap for a week.

Why luck TS instead of evasion for evade build? Isnt it better if evasion TS for left side?

With evade set TS, Sephiroth gains 2%-3% evasion rate but lose out on 14%-16% accuracy and some crit evasion. The numbers could be different depending on the reincarnation roll but in general I like luck set over evade for the extra benefits.

That sucks… you can dismantle the +5 to two +4s then dismantle one +4 to two +3. Then re-craft, you will need a few more recipes tho. You can re-craft from two +4s but you might not get the type you wanted.

Can't wait to play seph with dragon oberon 😳

After watching this I'm tempted too pull new Gilgamesh, but I'm still confused to built team for pve... My current story & pve team sepiroth+vc, young helena, melina (pistol girl) & the girl with some like horn (fire element). My newbie team are messed up especially the vc 😂

For 99% of the pve content don’t really require UR units & VCs, lower rarity units and VCs will do. They will be able to carry you through the story and most events. I wouldn’t rush any UR units to 140 just for pve, save your resources. For pvp, pick a unit with the weapon type you like then build around it. In the general unit pool, only Spring Jeume is worth to build, anything older is not worth it. For pve: Build any five lower rarity units to 120 and give them generic VCs that support all elements like, MR VCs: In search of myrrh - attack Envious magician- magic Sanctum assassins- unit attack res Netherworldly crimson orb, bloody moon - aoe res Beloved sidekick Chocobo - agility Then just give them anything in the sub VC slot. For pvp: If you have Sephiroth. Gilgamesh is a good partner for him. Summer Glaci should come back in a couple months, she could still be worth it then. If you have Cloud. Spring Jeume, Seifer (coming soon) & UR Fina (also coming soon) are all good with him. There will be at least 2 new units & VCs per month, don’t pull everything. Pick and choose the ones that work with your main units. Pvp is deep & very expensive, I highly suggest to play at your own pace. It will take a while to build a competitive pvp team.

He is one of the easiest unit to put on any teams regardless of element and weapon type. However, I think with what is currently available on GL, he cannot unlock his full power yet. His best teammates on JP are New Gilgamesh & Lucille, both will come to GL in the next 30 days. If you want the absolute best setup for him, you will need to consider picking up those 2 100 units plus Gilgamesh’s VC. From a mono fire standpoint, if you have Psaro’s card, you can pretty much run him quite efficiently.
